In these interviews though, I did not find what she said to be really awful. She said that she's an actor as long as they keep making her act and making her do scenes, she is fine with whatever they do. She also said that Zoya and Ayaan will have a different chemistry - more friends - and as the story evolves people will love the track and them too. Yes, she is being naive about fans' acceptance but she is not wrong in trying to put a positive spin on the track. She has more to lose than fans if the show starts flopping.

However, it's always a good idea for an actor to be sensitive to the fans' emotions.
