I used to watch Teen Bahuraaniyaan with my mum and she wasn't very good there either. Actually when she first joined QH I thought she had improved considerably, but then as the show went on her acting became less than pleasant to watch. I remember watching the BTS for the scene where Tanveer pretends to be scared of doctors and I kept wondering how Karan and Surbhi kept a straight face throughout that performance because it was so cringeworthy 😆

A true villian or vamp has to convince you that their actions and intentions are evil. It is on that basis that you hate them.

A good actor does not have to resort to grotesque facial expressions, rolling eyes or cackling laugh in order to convince people that his or her character is evil. All that does is make people feel the character is plain insane.

however, I dont blame the actor. Clearly, there must be a director on the sets. So, AG is doing what she is told to do. Or she is being allowed to play the character in an exaggerated fashion because the director either does not know better or does not care!

Whatever, the show itself has become so ridiculous and farcical that AG's acting is the least of the issues!

Even if any other actor had played Tanveer we wd have hated the character. .AG's overacting makes it worse

Tanveer is a poorly written villain and AG is a poor actress and together that makes for an unpleasant viewing experience.
