still she has contradicted her own approach in many aways...i simply do not understand what she is trying to show ...progressive or regressive????she can not change any character and its nature and feelings overnight which i am sure she will because she is pro at butchering her own characters as she keeps dumbing down them time to time just to glorify tanveer..she revealed tanveer in asya life stating that tanveer track will be ending and i will show her backstory...i am still waiting for her backstory though now it does not matter anymore in story...gul could never justify tanveer's motive..whats her motive??? money,getting married to asad,killing zoya,getting her child's father ??????tannu is shown as GOD and destiny...its the most stupid thing anyone can show...atelast don't name it destiny what tannu is doing..it plain ridiculous ...her characters has been written after having weed or what ??? i mean its most poorly written character ever..so many loopholes...she does everything like superwoman even being 5-6 month pregnant..anyways after all she is GOD..zoya's character has always been like this we all know..its her impulsiveness and selfless nature which help people...she needs to think for 2 minutes before acting ..but there is no need to go throughthis zoyaaan track..this reason is not reasonable at all...what she will be paying for?? just for thinking others before her own happiness???if zoya is made to go though this hell just to teach her lession about impulsiveness then i wonder what cost other should pay in this show for their faults???asad should die because he had million of faults,ayaan should be hanged because of her selfish nature...shireen should be boiled in hot oil for ruining three families...gafoor should be killed by people throwing stones at him as he left zainab and zoya...tanve and razia.. i seriously wonder what punishment or lesson should be enough for them..sorry i cant even think of it..now one important thing..zoya might be impulsive and lil bit immature but she never took her love and marriage with asad lightly..she has been loyal and very sincere towards him...she never though of anyone beyond asad in his life...she did every possible thing for him and his family...and she deserves to be loved by asad and family...and i do not understand why gul needs to shatter her belief about marriage???the girl is already afraid of her destiny because she could never enjoy a family..she is lively it does not mean that she does not care about the things or future...she does..she is already scared...if she feels marriage should be lifetime commitment then i do not understand whats wrong with that ???its not like she wants to marry any random person..she stated clearly that she will get married to whom she loves and if she wants to keep her marriage for lifetime then i seriously do not understand why they need to shatter her good beliefs..this show has already shattered marriage belief as rashid and gafoor both could not fulfil lifetime commitment to marriage...so its enough...now just to shatter her harmless or lets say good belief about marriage she needs to be trapped in loveless marriage???i do not understand its agenda...and what if a person who has same belief as zoya gets married to some ayaan type of person and then come out somehow and get back to her first love with her shattered beliefs ...just stop taking marriage seriously because the past taught her no marriage is life time commitment...be it love or arrange or forced...and actually gul is showing the same...rashid could not commit to his love marriage...gafoor could not commit to his..and zoya wont be able to retain her forced marriage...now first of all it would be stupidity if they show zoya giving 100% to her marriage with ayaan ...and then if it does not work she will be coming back to asad...and if ayaan falls for her...i can not even think of the word for his character then ...and if they go back to original synopsis where ayaan wants her to get back...its beyond my imagination...the is nothing which is making sense right now..and zoyaan is just a bit of whole illogical thing...in the name of cinematic liberty gul can show some illogical things and insensitivity but now its getting beyond limit...she has made joke of GOD,destiny!good karma and good ideologies...and i actually feel bad how she is portraying a culture and human lives
I totally understand where you are coming from Sujata. Even I don't want this Zoyaan track but unfortunately, that was her story all along. She is now trying to fit it into the ongoing track with some illogical twists. Her main goal is not to shatter Zoya's POV or make sure Zoya grows up but to unite the two families via Zoya. It's during this process that Zoya's character will undergo a change in her beliefs and her show growth in some aspects.
Tanveer is indeed the most poorly written character but Gul's way of manipulating different tracks. I agree they have overused destiny and muqaddar in a wrong sense last few episodes. They have been so focussed on the twist and Zoyaan track that last few epi have been poorly written and executed.
Ultimately, she wants to show the sanctity of marriage and how nikaah and talak should not be taken lightly- this is the route she is taking.
