Ok, so a lot of ppl said that Asad is not asking Zoya what she wants n is treating like commodity etc. I think I already posted my thoughts on that but just wanted to take this a step further. For one, Zoya need not necessary listen or follow what he's saying. Its not even abt being modern or traditional. Its just the kind of character Zoya is. She has so many times gone against Asad's wishes or beliefs or as current results show, their promise. So why not this time!

But on a deeper level, I do feel that there is something lacking in Zoya's love. I feel that there is still insecurity and a little lack of intensity in Zoya's love. Firstly cz, I don't think she has a firm and solid belief in their love. I have a feeling that she needed that nikah to help her get that solid feeling n that's why whenever she promised Asad, she always said "nikah woh vaada hai" instead of just saying "main aapke saath hamesha rahoongi aur main aapke bina nahi reh paongi" or something like that. Secondly, I feel that she still hasn't completely understood Asad n his level of love for Nikhat, Ayaan and Nuzhat. I mean, I think maybe she has an idea abt Ayaan but I feel she still hasn't grasped that he loves Nikhat as much as Najma. I mean, when it was Najma's case, just to prevent her life from being spoiled by marrying a wrong guy, she was willing to break her love's promise, go out an hr before her own wedding and investigate the truth. Now, because of a mistake that she and Ayaan have done, it is Nikhat's actual life on the line n I don't think she's understanding wht that means to Asad. It was also obvious during the Nikhat blowout in the beginning of the Najma-Imran truth coming out. She was pretty insensitive towards his feelings for Nikhat n was more focused on Najma n Najma's happiness. Zoya hasn't made Nikhat and Nuzhat her sisters as she has made Najma. I think for her, relationships are more made out of contact and knowing each other not just out of extension. I mean, Asad had made it his mission to find Zoya's abu cz he understood how much he means to her n so her search became his search n similarly, he made Nuzhat, Nikhat and Ayaan as important as Najma even though they're not living together or even are in contact (except Ayaan). Zoya has failed on that level of making his extended family her family so she's not willing to sacrifice or compromise her relationship with Asad for Nikhat.

I feel Asad has a solid and strong belief/security in his love and their love/relationship. I think he belives (like KSG) that love will conquer and they will find their way bk to each other. I think Zoya is still insecure and needs that nikah to cement the security.

I just thought of something ki even if Nikhat's angle hadn't happened, wt wud they have done? I mean, they obv agree tat it happened by mistake but still do agree that it happened n that the nikah happened. Till now, they don't know abt the validity of the wedding so wt wud they hv done? That's wt I'm wondering cz Ayaan ko chhod ke, Asad n Zoya take nikah n their relationships very seriously toh pata nahi kya karte. This is just me thinking aloud 😛

Sorry if I offended anyone but the more I saw the scenes n the more I thought abt it, it just kept coming bk to this thought process and issues. Also, if u think abt it, Asad must be dead inside or is at least hurting the most. I mean, first of all, his heart breaks that his bro n the love of his life got married (at this point, doesn't matter ki its really not valid) then Nikhat's life is in danger cz of that mistake, then he has to break his heart again and give away his love n worst of all, he knows how much he is breaking Zoya's heart and how much pain she is in n so he's feeling the pain double cz according to him, they are one n their hearts are one. So to me, he's really like how ksg described it dead but showing live death (if that makes sense).

Niks, Devika's recent post and this comment of yours kinda highlight the same thing, as far as Nikhat Zoya relationship is concerned..This could be the bonding time between the two..and later Zoya going out of the way to help Nikhat (Farhan theory we talked about today) just like she did for Naj on her wedding day!
