I agree the scene was cute, but I believe that there was some underlying reason for it too! And yes it is true that he is now making an effort and that's good. But about the forgetting due to emotions, I personally don't buy it. Because even after he remembered tamatar, he still was pretty unsure about it. So it's not just emotions, it's really about not exactly sure what Najma's pet name even is.

I agree that it was good that he was big-hearted enough to come for the engagement. But you said it yourself too, he only sort of cares about Asad, not about Najma.

Ayaan doesn't love/care about Najma as much as Asad does care/love his step-sisters...We all knew that from the start...So I was not surprise at all if he didn't know her pet name...Asad is Asad. Its in his nature to be kind and thoughtful...He tries to do what is right...!!!

I thought that it was clear to all what happened...Asad is/was NOT at fault...he was there only after knowing that she somehow has already move on...and they were there ONLY to talk and not to talk about marriage...And we saw that only after taking Ayaan and Nikhaat's permission Asad said "Yes" to TALK about Marriage...(Which he doesn't need btw...The way Ayaan treated him was pure humiliating...And Asad is so blind in that Kid's love that he forgives him EVERY TIME and ANYTHING...I agree with others...He HAS to stop doing that...He is the older one...Ayaan and his sisters should respect him...I have seen that respect in Nikhaat eyes...But I am sorry to say that Ayaan doesn't...)

Asad hopes that Nikhaat is fine...and KNOWS that she is mature enough to try to move on...and she PROVED it to everyone saying "Yes" for Farhaan...Yes, we know she is still in pain but she KNOWS that she has to move on because Imran isn't worth it...

Agree with you entirely, good answer haha, especially the red parts!! Ayaan doesn't respect Asad all that much, he just treats Asad as the elder brother who will grant all his wishes.

I'm still very much weirded out by Najma agreeing to marry Imraan. I understand it has to be done for the story to move forward. But really, how could she marry him after knowing about him and Nikhat? I'd be in guilt for my whole life. And how much does Najma really know him?

Granted that he forgot in emotions, but then why is it that when he did remember, he was still so unsure of himself? Noble is a strong word to use, but I agree it was mature of him to still come and bless the couple. Ayaan always seems to be changing his ways, but then when something goes wrong he always regresses back to calling Asad sautela, which I find to be a very childish way to deal with his problems - by emotionally blackmailing his bhaijaan. As for Nikhat, Asad had the decency to ask her, but she did lie to him. That too on the phone. And my brother lives with me. So you can't really blame Asad for this, he doesn't even live in the same house as Nikhat.

And your argument about people being against Ayaan's behaviour towards his brother since he is a threat for Asad and Zoya's love story doesn't really fit in here. People have problems with Asad's behaviour sometimes, and Zoya's behaviour at others. Not everything in this show revolves around Asad and Zoya's union.

Well I thought the scene was put it for reasons more than humor, and that is my personal opinion. You thought differently and that's fine, but there's no need to instruct me on what I should take seriously or lightly. I don't appreciate it.
