i think it is mostly karan and not asad's ocd. i dont know the reason though... but as far as i've noticed there has been many instances he does that. i think even in their first hug he did that. and then when he was hugging dilshu momma when she was consoling him about zoya. and then in the offscreen segment when he once was hugging neha. dont remember which one though.

No, This is the way Karan hugs people...I mean have you seen him hugging others...he hides his face in other person's shoulder and holds them tight...I love the way he hugs...!!! 😳

Maybe its his way of hugging

Looks like this is more of Asad style of hugging. Out of curiosity I checked out few of Karan's hug scenes from other serials and his palms were not closed. Or as someone said it may be Karan's new style of hugging, which is not too intimate as he is a married man now.
