I think the black symbolizes asad being blinded himself by Tanveer's lies and will misunderstand their relationship for something else but ayan and zoyas white symbolizes the purity o it and its nothing but devar bhabhi an jeeji saali.

Also i def think asad will misunderstand. He may not at frst but with tanveers slow adding of feul into the fire and maybe seeing somethings and hearig somethings with his own eye his jealousy will take over leadin to doubt.
