I am not condoning Zoya's action nor accusing Zoya here.
I am not also accusing Asad here.
ZOYA: A girl brought up outside India where she was totally independant. Its not easy to switch off that independance. She sees Najma going out on her own and back without a problem. She has understood Asad enough that her first thought was Asad. Was she being irresponsible? No, not totally. She was told by Asad that there was taxi driver's strike not a bus strike. Najma told her that there was a bus that would take directly to the venue. From Zoya's POV, it is safe. And Zoya being Zoya would have checked the return schedule but little did she know a strike can turn violent in India affecting even bus schedules. It is difficult for her to relate to the gravity of the situation not having lived in India.
Zoya hopped into a stranger's car out of sheer desparation. You could see the fear on her face. Yes, she could asked Rajveer if she could use his phone, but that was the last thought in her mind. Her prinmary thought was just trying to get back home.
ASAD: Asad has not really understood Zoya. He knows that Zoya would find some way or other to get there as she was so passionate about the whole thing. He assumed his word his law. He should realise that Zoya has always been an independant soul.
ASAD-ZOYA: They love each other to death. What is lacking is communication? They still don't communicate enough. They are only finding out about each other by chance. Both are now in this rose-coloured world where they think that love is enough. In the precap. Asad shouted at Zoya without asking Zoya what had happened. But it has never worked on Zoya before.
Oishi is her spoiler did say that this new guy has been introduced for hone some of Asad's character and some of Zoya's too and would bring them even closer.
All beautiful relationship do not depend on how well we understanding or loving someone. But it depends on how well we manage the misunderstadings.
