Sometimes you really get tired of fighting. The battle just doesn't seem to end. Your energy, patience and tolerance begin to ebb away. You reach a point where there is no sadness, no happiness, no extreme emotion left inside you. You switch off all the dreams, struggles, hopes and wishes - you take a deep breath and jump off the terrace of your dream castle and give yourself up to the crashing waves of life - I am done , I feel. All is over. Do what you like and show me what is the best and the worst you can do. Why not just die for once and all instead of dying every day?
Nikhat is that person who is jumping off the terrace and diving into a bottomless pit. Her calm , composed and practical decision may seem foolish and immature on the surface - but if you look at it from her POV, people do get sick and tired of being unpaid labour everyday , building a castle that never seems to end constructing. Nikhat has moved beyond all expectations and dreams - nothing matters except freeing her folks of her burden. Haseena, Farhaan, Imraan, Najma- she is giving herself up to all of them - to her destiny. She is beyond what could be the worst and what could be the best. Sometimes, you just want to get done with this vicious circle and Nikhat has reached that stage. She has no idea who or what Farhan is - yet , she is giving her precious life in the hands of a stranger. Like they say :
When she was just a girl / She expected the world / But it flew away from her reach / So she ran away in her sleep .
Its just that Nikhat is going to sleep - not in search of paradise - but of sleep.
That was the darkness of today's episode and in stark contrast was the sunshine at AsYa's place.
Cute. Mischievous. Flirt-ish. Innocent Bursting with happiness. Like we have always said. AsYa are all shades of a relationship - feelings, thoughts, passion, affection, compassion, combat , arguments, tears, embraces and heartbeats. AsYa are in a blissfully comfortable zone now. A much-in-love engaged couple preparing to get married. Zoe already behaves and believes that she is Asad's wife while Asad still keeps a line of distance. Today, she flirts with him, teases him, closes in on him, hugs him and glows like a brilliant bride. In turn. Asad tries to keep the convo 'vegetarian' as Najma is around , tries to deflect all of Zoe's flirtations, still makes faces and rolls eyes on her Dhoni Obsession and her dirtying the sofa , gives in to her pleas to go and see Dhoni... why? Because he loves her and she loves him.
So perfect. Isn't it?... Well, when things are getting too good to be true, understand that the serpent is just around the corner. AsYa deserve to be happy... but when has 'deserve' ever been a synonym of ' deliver'? 😉
