hmm recaps? I know I know I update in a really long time but not one did I think about recaps"that's a great idea Pari di! as I reader I know the pain of going back and forth to read the next part and then having trouble following along so I'm willing to help people who are kind enough to read my story 😊

i dont like how QUBOOL HAI forum is turning into FAN-FICTION RELATED COMPLAINS AND SUGGESTIONS FORUM! 😳 😕

First of all, writers should value readers? Well yes i suppose, but vice-versa too please! Some readers annoy the writers to death. Please know, that the writers arent getting paid for this, they do this for free, for you to enjoy, for YOU to read, so you better keep that in mind and not annoy them? (talking in general)

I think having a recap or not having one should completely be A WRITER'S CHOICE. If you need to recap your memory, or it isn't that good, you can always go to the previous chapter and re-read the whole thing or the end.

The writers round the world arent sitting here for you to read their stories now, are they? They arent your personal servants to give you an update each time you want. I believe they have a life and a right to continue/discontinue their FF whenever they want!

Hey Pari, I know you as a regular reader of all my stories and I admit to being guilty as of late to updating existing stories on the forum and once I can I try to update regularly. I like your suggestion of a recap when updates have had a wide gap or readers can reacquaint themselves with the previous chapter as most writers have chapter index. 😊

I just wanted to add some points to what you've said:

* I too get sad when I LOVE a story and there's no updates for long periods. As a writer and reader you have to understand both sides. Sometimes we get too busy to update.

For me a main reason for late updating is Writer's Block. Writers know what I'm talking about. It's not about starting something you can't finish but actually when you start writing, you're not able to put into words what you want to give the readers next.

I've been going through that of late and trying to get past it to update my FF. Sometimes like yesterday you get a new idea for a story but still stuck for the existing one. It happens.

We need to keep in mind also that writers have life outside of the forum and can't always update according to the readers wish and sometimes what we need to do is be patient. 😃

Hey pari
As a reader u r right but i am a writer and u know there is sometime when i update and send so many pms to all my reader but they dont comment or not even like the update then i dont feel like to update and a reader should also understand to value the work of a writer
I DONT MIND TO GIVE A RECAP BUT IF THERE ARE ANY READER THEN WHY SHOULD I GIVE ANY.
