Awesome post but In Asad's defense,

Asad is like a parent who'd do anything to pacify his whining child. Ayaan however, is a brat.

He is so shattered by the thought of Ayaan misunderstanding him that he even set foot where he swore he'd never go just to remove it, a step he wasn't willing to take to attend Ayaan's engagement.

For him, the unity of all siblings is more important than just Najma's dreams hence he is willing to sacrifice them if they're the cost of that unity.
