For all my earlier frustration with the character of Nikhat, she sure shut me up for good and proved that her silence and softness is her strength and not her weakness. She proved that her silence was a part of her gracious nature and that when she speaks she does so with strength and sensibility and maturity.
She handled the situation with grace, dignity and beauty and showed that she is one of the strongest characters in the show, more like her brother Asad than Ayaan and a complete contrast to her step sister.
Najma is one of the weakest characters here and seems like a childish, immature and pampered princess honestly. She doesnt seem old enough or mature enough to get married into a household that has Haseena as its head. I only have one question for her - Which girl can so happily start building her life on the broken pieces of her sister's heart? Is love so blind?
Today I was quite disappointed with Zoya. She needs some growing up! Its ironic that she keeps calling Asad as emotionally challenged and yet Asad could understand how Nikhat feels to some extent and Zoya who nearly lost her man to another woman couldn't! Rose tinted glasses or dark tinted ones?
Also I thought Dilshad would be more hesitant considering that she has gone through the pain of losing her love to another!
And Asad who knows about the vindictive and manipulative nature of Haseena and prob also knows she will eat Najma up alive ought to tread carefully here.
Imran deserved at least a slap or a punch IMO!

I have since the inception of QH believed that of all the characters, Zoya needed the most growth, which has not happened yet. Asad's character has grown and changed monumentally especially after the Tanveer tragedy, but Zoya is still the same a good hearted child woman, living in fantasy world, apparently not having learnt much from her own recent trials.

Zoya has never been responsible for anything or anybody. Yes she has had the pain of growing up without her parents but still was protected, sheltered and pampered by her Aapi & Jiju. She does not have the maturity or sense and sensitivity of dealing with volatile broken families. Her way of dealing with hard situations is to run away and avoid the circumstances rather than face them head on like Asad does.

Besides growing up in New York has not equipped her with the knowledge or experience of how traditions, relations and families work in India.

I hope Asad understands this about the woman he loves or she will be dragging him and his already tortured family into many more messes as she has in the past.

I would really like to see Zoya's character grow a lot more where she actually knows what she is talking about rather than assuming she does.

One can not learn about relationships from the IPAD.

Zoya was out of character today. Is she the same girl who was completely shattered when she saw her MrKhan with another woman? I agree she is in her rose filled bed today..but she.. of all the people should understand that it is not easy to move on so easily...

Zoya went through a heartbreak as well...but although she was in a zombie like mode after the nikah day at the ashram...she was still determined to move on...when asad found her...she left for Ajmer...and then later back home at Bhopal after finding out of Asad's decision to marry Tanveer and the pregnancy she decided to go back to NY...i know some are gonna say that she ran away to an ashram and stuff...how's that moving on??

but here's the thing...Not everyone goes through a heartbreak the same way...Everyone has their own coping mechanism...they cope with it in a different way and just like Zoya had gone to the ashram or Ajmer or decided to go back to New York to get away from Asad and move on with her life...Nikkhat has her own way as well...she hid her pain from her loved ones because she did not want them to worry about her or get even more upset with what's happening...and Nikkhat herself was putting on a brave face in front of everyone saying she's fine...in Zoya's POV...Nikkhat broke the engagement so she probably thought that Nikkhat really didn't want to marry Imraan...AND YES...I KNOW...the question now you ask will be why no one asked why she did it?? i have no idea!!! i wanted that question asked as well...

and yes as much as I wish Zoya was more sensitive to Nikkhat's feelings and is not rushing the nikah...she was right as well...what else can Nikkhat do other than move on when the guy she's supposed to marry loves another...and yes...even if it takes a long time, she will eventually get over it...they say na...Time is the best healer...and who knows..she might get over it after meeting someone else (Farhan perhaps?)

PS: Round of applause for Archana's acting today...a brilliant performance..
