Not choosing which girl he should marry...choosing who's side she will take..until yesterday she wasn't even aware that Imraan was engaged to Nikhat...I really do not expect her to understand

She knew Nikhat was happily engaged. Now she broke her relation for some reason. Obviously means there was trouble. What else does she need to understand exactly?

Aap log samajh nahi rahe ho what I am trying to say here...I was thinking about why no one is questioning how the engagement broke...here are a few pointers on why no questions ar being asked...

1)There was trouble from day one...both Khan families know the kind of woman Haseena is and they have made their thoughts vocal...but none of them have deemed it important enough to prevent a daughter's marriage into that woman's home...for Zoya...the family's background is secondary in Najma's case...

2) Imraan, in front of everyone, told Nikhat that he tried and had she not broken the engagement, he would have remained faithful...which is total crap btw...but still he said it...

3) Ayaan has made it clear that Immy could never step up for Nik...why would he do so for Naj...the answer to that was given by Imraan...that he loves Najma and will do whatever it takes to keep her...

All of this points to one inescapable fact...Imraan did not give his 100% to the relationship with Nikhat..that lack of love showed one day...they are aware that some drama happened at SM and Nikhat broke the marriage...when they ask why...the reason will come to be that Haseena is a greedy, bitchy woman...what is new in that? Is it good enough to stop this marriage, when the same fact wasn't good enough to stop Nikhat's engagement despite the fact that Imraan was such a douche...ever since?...The Khans are still thinking..Zoya has toh completely discarded the bitchiness of Haseena, just because Immy stood up for Naj...it's all that she needs...for her true love is everything..remember the advice she gave to Ayaan once before...

Now when she knows Imraan does not love Nikhat...that's it...that is where the buck stops

👏

While there's something in what you say, my problem is the speed at which things are proceeding. Who cares when Farhan is coming? It won't be for another month definitely.

We are on the same page here. Letting Haseena make demands was mistake number 1. And for what reason? Because Nikhat is dark skinned? Isn't that like agreeing being dark is a sin?
But everyone kept saying it is the norm. Tell me, when you read/see a story what would you like to experience? A character who is relatable but who manages to fight all odds, or who manages to change the situation to their convenience. But here all of them are just going with it?
Why talk about equality, feelings and the rest when you yourself let the opposite happen?

Don't even talk about Asad. He promises his sister happiness and later agrees to break the rishta for Ayaan? What about Najma then?
And why doesn't Ayaan realise Nikhat won't be happy anymore. After the truth has come out, what sense does it make to still get his sister married to that spineless wimp?
Imran doesn't love her and won't even have her back when Haseena Bi taunts her. Isn't it in his best interest that his sister doesn't get married to Imran?

That's why I said...they both need to understand that they are not the be all and end all of everything
