What an episode!

I dont even know where to start. I have to say that it is probably one of the best episodes in Qubool Hai so far. The acting was amazing and they all did a wonderful job. This is going to be a very very long post so bare with me lol.

Firstly, I want to point out something that caught my attention in a line that Haseena said. I dont want anyone thinking Im favoring the woman because I absolutely CAN NOT stand her and she needs to be put in her place by everyone that was in that house today. What she did today was absolutely disgusting. But this one line she said to Shirin really got me. When she said to Shirin Mehmano ko zaleel karna tumhare ghar ka rehvaz hai, hamare ghar ka nahin. The first part really hit me. If you think about it, theres alot of truth and meaning behind it if analyzed. Although not 'mehmaan', Shirin and her family have insulted Asad and his family in every way and every chance they have gotten. Razia insulting Dilshaad every chance she got, at the play, caught Rashid holding her hand, Ghafoor showing up at Dilshaads doorstep and insulting her, AND threatening her and her son, Razia insulting Asad when he stepped foot on their house for the first time to tell his father Dilshaad was dying, Razia again insulting Dilshaad and Zoya (even though Dilshaad wasnt there) at the engagement, Shirin insulting Dilshaad and her kids and cursing them at the walima. There are many more and the list could go on. I thought it was really interesting and ironic.

Now to Najma, Imran, and Nikhat. I feel really bad for Nikhat and she totally does not deserve this, but at the same time I wonder if Nikhat had found out that Najma was Imrans first love before all this came out, would she have refused to marry Imran? Would her family have called off the nikkah, knowing that Najma would be hurt if she found out? Yes it was 3 years ago, but first love is something no one ever forgets and even if you do move on, that person always holds a place there for you. No matter how long its been or if youve moved on with someone else, it still stings when you find out the person is marrying someone else (it happened to one of my good friends and many others I know). No I dont think they would have called off the marriage..in fact they probably would have insulted Najma and called her names and insulted her family even more. Imran voiced his love for Najma today infront of everyone, which says a lot. Yeah, he was an ass for not standing up for Nikhat, because even if he didnt love her, its still just plain wrong to stand by and let someone be insulted like that. But he is not alone in that, her own family didnt stand up for her when horrible things were being said to her. Najma, Im neutral towards her. We cant say she is completely selfish because when Imran first told her she did say no to him, and thought about Nikhat even though they have had no communication up until now. As of now, I can't really say much about whether or not she truly loves Imran. I kind of feel like she has daddy issues, and that's why she's holding on to Imran but Im still waiting for the story between Imran and Najma to play out though.

Rashid...I dont expect anything from the guy anymore.

Now to the main part, Ayaan proved he truly is Shirins son, and Asad Dilshaads. Todays scene between the four really tells a lot about the mothers and how they have raised their sons, at least in my opinion. Ayaan and Shirin kept insulting Asad and his mother, but not once did they give a reply back. Dilshaad is one of the most gracious women I have seen on television. I dont know how she does it, take insults and name calling over and over again and not say a word. She never once blamed Shirin for anything that happened in her life. Her children never once blamed Shirin or her children for what happened in their life. Dilshaad always welcomed Shirins children with open arms, but Shirin never did that for Dilshaads children. Shirin says to Rashid that hes trying to show her that he still cares for his other family more. Um...when did he ever show that AT ALL? He left them for you guys. You never let him meet his children. Im pretty sure he knew they were struggling after he left them, yet never bothered to help them. He could have even done it secretly if he didnt want anyone knowing but he didnt. He has never tried making a relationship with Najma or even made it evident that he cares for her. Even after everything Shirin says, Dilshaad still talks to her calmly (just like she did at the walima before Shirin cursed Asad and Najma) and tries to explain to Shirin the situation. And then she has the nerve to say Dilshaad knows how to take things away from people. Dilshaad never took anything away from her family. Shirin was the one who took Rashid away. Shirin was the other woman. If Asad wanted he could have thrown many things in Ayaans face but didnt. Just like his mother he has kept quiet. He tried to calmly explain to Ayaan everything. I cant believe Ayaan had the nerve to bring in the step brother thing again (indirectly). So Nikhat can be Asads sister but Najma cant be his? Asad has to think about Nikhats happiness first (which he has done many times in the past and did in this situation too when he first found out about Imran and Najma), but Ayaan doesnt have to give a damn about Najma? On that note, I just want to say I can't wait for tomorrow's episode and I really hope Asad shuts them all up the way he has done in the past with Razia.

I have never understood how shirin & razia could insult dilshad when dilshad is the innocent one wronged by shirin & razia. The mind boggles as to the logic of an evil mind. Sheesh...

As for ayaan, I guess its always been clear he's self centred & whilst always believing he has rights over asad & asad owes him brotherly duties, never having been deprived of anything, has never understood & just never bothered to try & understand its a 2 way street - he, ayaan, has duties & responsibilities too to asad & najma.

I guess all it boils down to is dilshad has class, and she has transferred this to her kids whilst with shirin, its just the opposite. Except nikhat of course, that girl is class of her own & most certainly deserves a much better life partner than scum bag imran.
