Next Morning:

Asad's Residence:

Asad's bedroom:

Asad woke up and as soon as he was wide awake, he started thinking about Zoya.

Asad: I wonder if Zoya is okay. I should go cheak on her.

Asad quickly got up from bed and went to Zoya's room and entered without knocking. He saw her sleeping and thought how cute she looks. Asad went and sat beside her on her bed and saw the her hair was coming on her face and she was getting disturbed by it. Asad slowly moved Zoya's hair out of her face without waking her up. (Mitwa Moment). Asad decided he will take one more day off from going to office. He wanted to sit beside Zoya and take care of her as much as possible to she recovers quick. Suddenly Asad heard a beep sound come from Zoya's I-pad which made him come out of his thoughts. Asad turned on her I-pad and luckily it was unlocked and he wouldn't have to go through the trouble of finding the password of it. As soon as the I-pad turned on, Asad saw a message from her Appi that read:

Zoya,
Your birthday is the day after tomorrow so your Appi and Jiju will be with you by evening. Take care.
From your Appi Zeenat

Asad: Ms.Farooqui's birthday is coming up and she never told me. I will pretend not to know until she tells me.

Asad went and sat beside her and gave her a kiss on her forehead. Zoya woke up all of a sudden.

Asad: Good Morning, Ms.Farooqui.

Zoya: Good morning Mr.Khan. Why are you here so early in the morning?

Asad: Actually, I came to cheak on you if you are fine or not. Also to see if you are awake or not.

Zoya: Mr.Khan, you go get ready and I will go get ready and by that time breakfast will be ready okay?

Asad: Okay Ms.Farooqui. But remember, you can't eat anything spicy okay?

Zoya: As you wish!

Someone was listening to their talks from the door.

Zoya was getting up from her bed with Asad's support. He held her hand and but his arm around her shoulder.

Zoya: Mr.Khan, it hurts.

Asad: Its okay, you will be fine, after breakfast, remember to take your medicines and if it hurts too much, tell Ammi to give you the painkiller injection.

Asad helped Zoya walk to her cupboard. She took out her shirt and jeans and then Asad helped her reach until the bathroom. After that he went to his room to get ready as well.

In the kitchen, Dilshad was getting breakfast ready. She made a special dish for Zoya without any chilli stuff in it. As soon as she left the kitchen, someone climbed through the window and added 3 tablespoons of chilli powder in Zoya's dish that Dilshad made for her. Then that person disappears through the window.

At the table, Dilshad and Najma were setting it up for breakfast while Asad was bringing Zoya. He made her sit on the chair. They all started eating. Dilshad served Zoya the special dish she had made. As soon as she started to eat, her mouth started burning badly.

Zoya: Pani (Water)

Zoya was screaming water while Asad and the rest were confused. Asad gave Zoya water and she quickly drank it. She started to feel dizzy.

Asad: Ms. Farooqui, what happened?

Zoya: There was so chilli in this dish and it burned my mouth.

Asad: Ammi, can't you be a little careful? Zoya at this moment isn't allowed to eat anything spicy.

Asad was raging with anger.

Dilshad: Asad, I was careful. I didn't put anything spicy in it.

Asad's Residence:

Asad: Ammi, can't you be careful? Why did you make Zoya's food spicy? I told you not to. What is something happened to Zoya? She just had a surgery and you know that but why?

Dilshad: Asad listen to me. I didn't...

Asad was raging in anger and didn't want to hear a single word. Asad looked at Zoya, who was standing up from her chair. She was feeling dizzy and unable to stand so she fell on Asad. Asad looked one last time at Dilshad and took Zoya to her room without saying another word. In Zoya's room, Asad made Zoya sit on her bed while he went to get breakfast for Zoya. After Asad left the room, Zoya was talking to herself about what happened.

" How can Mr.Khan talk to Phoopi like that? Every single day, ever since I have entered his house, he always lectures me on Tameez and Tazeeb but the way he talked to his Ammi today, I should be the one asking him if he has any Tameez or Tazeeb. Before you say something to others, think about yourself. Phoopi might have made a mistake by accident but no. Mr. Khan can't live without making a big issue out of something small everyday. My Ammi isn't alive today but even if she was, I wouldn't have talked to her the way Mr. Khan talked to his Ammi. Let Mr. Khan come, I will talk to him. Poor Phoopi, wonder how she must be feeling right now. Mr. Khan hurts everyone. No matter how many things he has said to me, if it relates to my Ammi, or anything situated with my family, I won't talk to him. Phoopi is like my Ammi. She always treats me like her own daughter. Today, even if Phoopi's own son said something to her that is rude, I won't tolerate it."

Before Zoya could continue talking, Asad entered her room with toast and juice. He sat down on her bed with the breakfast and started feeding Zoya.

Zoya: Mr. Khan, you shouldn't have talked to Phoopi like that.

Asad: Ms. Farooqui, I don't want to talk anything related to what happened. Be quiet and eat because I am getting late for office.

Zoya: Mr. Khan, you are going to office. Stay home for today please. For me?

Asad: There is a lot of work at office since I haven't been going to office lately so I have today. I will come back early.

Asad caressingly touched her cheek, gave her a kiss on the forehead and said good-bye. Zoya gave a smile back and also said bye.

Asad: Before I go, remember to eat your medicines on time and rest.

Zoya smiled and nodded and Asad left for office. While driving to office, he thinks that the day after tomorrow is Zoya's birthday so I won't go to office, intead I will buy her a gift.

Asad reached to the shop and was choosing dresses. He could find any that were beautiful. Asad suddenly spotted Nikhat and Noozat. He went upto them.

Asad: Nikhat, Noozat, what are you doing here?

Nikhat: Bhaijaan, actually Ayan Bhaijaan told us you invited our family to attend Zoya's secret birthday party so we decided to buy her a gift from behalf of our family.

Asad: Okay, Nikhat, can you help me find a dress for Zoya? Actually I want to buy her a dress that she will wear on her birthday and girls know what girls like.

Noozat: Bhaijaan, you don't worry. Nikhat Baji and I am here so we will help you find her dress.

After what seemed like hours of searching, Noozat chose her a Light blue and lavender lengha, Nikhat chose a black and golden lengha. From all of them, Asad's gift for Zoya was the most beautiful. It was a orange and white top lengha. Asad told the shop keeper to pack all the dresses and he paid the money and left for home.

As soon as he sat in the car, he remembered Zoya's Appi's message. Her Appi and Jeeju are coming today. Asad decides to pick them up from the airport and bring them home with him.

Asad's Residence:

Zoya is bored sitting in her room so she decides to have a talk with Dilshad. Zoya get up from her bed, she feels dizzy but still walks to Dilshad's room. She knocks on the door and Dilshad lets her in. Both of them sit.

Zoya: Phoopi, I am sorry for what happened in the morning. I mean Mr. Khan shouldn't have talked to you like that. Since I came into this house, the problems aren't ending.

Dilshad: Zoya, don't blame yourself. I hope at least you trust me. I swear upon you that I didn't put that much chili powder in your food.

Zoya: Phoopi. how can a daughter not trust her Ammi? I trust you fully. I don't care what others say but all I know is my Phoopi cares for others before herself and can't harm anyone.

Dilshad: Zoya beta, you are so mature. Losing your Ammi at the age of 3 is very painful. Yet you are still so strong. Not everyone in this world is like you. You know Zoya, you are one in a million. Even though you haven't had a Ammi through your whole life, you handle everything maturely and your Appi and Jeeju have raised you like any parent would raise their children.

Zoya hugged Dilshad while tears were streaming down her cheeks.
