The house looked beautiful, decorated with long chains of fairy lights, and mirror strings lit all around with candles and colourful silk draperies hanging at the windows. Purple orchids filled the room giving it an ethereal look.

Totally loved the decoration!!

Asad looked at the door of her room, hoping that Zoya would come out any moment.

Dilshad smiled and nudged him. "Looking for Zoya?" she asked, smirking.

Asad flushed and asked, "Isn't it time for the engagement to start ammi?"

"Patience Bhaijaan!", replied Najma as she laughed at her brother's impatience.

"I've waited 28 years.", Asad muttered under his breath. Dilshad and Najma burst out laughing along with Ayaan and Humeira.

Asad took away my heart here!! ❤️

Asad smiled at her, his molten chocolate eyes melting with love for her. Zoya looked up, and catching the clear appreciation in his eyes, blushed seemly.

He held out his hand. Zoya placed her hand in his, smiling into his eyes.

Omg!! Wow!!

Asad gently held her left hand in his and slid a beautiful diamond studded platinum ring on Zoya's finger. Zoya took a plain white gold band and placed it on Asad's finger.

Perfect choice!! My parents are in jewellery business so I know that it is perfect!!

Zoya looked at the ring on Asad's finger, and said, smiling mischievously, "Now you are all mine Chintu!"

"I was always yours Bunty! Just that we made things official today!", replied Asad.

Zoya smiled and spoke, "Where will you run when I tease you now?"

Asad smiled into her eyes, and then whispered in her ear. "Who said I will want to run away from you Zoya Asad Khan?"

"I'm not yet Zoya Asad Khan! Our wedding date is not even decided!", she retorted with a laugh.

"I will get that done soon!", he winked.

It's getting better and better

She sat in the backyard under the moonlit sky admiring her ring. She felt a kiss on her hair. She smiled, but then hid it.

Asad smiled and broke apart. He then pulled himself onto the pillow and lay down, then pulled Zoya onto his chest. She lay on him with her head on his broad chest and his arms wrapped around her shoulder pulling her more into him.

After an hour, Zoya woke up and found herself snuggled into Asad. She gently lifted herself without disturbing him. She smiled and caressed his face.

She dropped a kiss on his forehead, then eyes.. She closed onto his lips. Before she could touch them, Asad pinned her down on the bed.

She blushed as he caressed her cheek with his thumb. He dropped a kiss in the crook of her neck. She gasped as she felt his lips against her skin. She held onto his shoulder. He trailed kisses along her throat and neck line further down to her cleavage. He nuzzled into her neck and closed his eyes..

Zoya's fingers ran through his hair, ruffling through it after which he drifted off to sleep soon followed by Zoya.

Never did they know that a new day always comes up with a new twist!
