There are alot of loop holes in the plot of Najma-Imran to be honest. The writers just decided they want to do this perhaps because they cancelled their original plot of Zoya-Ayaan. So therefore now they are trying to make a triangle between sisters.
Like Jayne said, if they were in the same college, howcome Nikhat didn't know? She was in the same college too.Agree ..Writers have planned this angle recently..But as a viewer I have to believe whatever writers are showing with their logic because if I use my logic, everything will not make any sense. There are definitely loopholes but I have to to with the writers POV now assuming some unrealistic thingsAs for the characters, both are pretty weak. I think its just the wish of someone in her life who would love her for who she is that makes Najma love Imraan because if she really did, she would've told her Ammi or her Bhaijaan that she loved him. Atleast tried.Yeah, if not Asad atleast Dilshad.. She is quite open with Dilshadthe writers brought in a whole new track and kind of messed up with the characterization and everything shown in the past. 🤔I am just trying to make sense out of every scene just for sake of my satisfaction😆

I think part of it also has to do with the fact that Najma has never really experienced a lot of hardship/had to make hard decisions- because like Dilshaad said, they've shielded her from a lot of it! So when push comes to shove this is the first time she's really been challenged and she's obviously choosing the easier path. I think this whole fiasco is going to make her grow as a person.
