What are you trying to say? They can't love? They love their parents, don't they? How is that love different from this except that the dynamics are different?
There have been many who've given into family pressure. There have been instances when many have let their love go because their love loves someone else. So should they have not let them go? Its the same thing right? I agree he didn't fight at all but we cannot dismiss the situation off as infatuation.
I'm taking it as a case in point and not attributing it to Najma and Imran. Generally speaking, it could happen. Character is not responsible for love right?
How successful the pair will be and all we cannot say.
Though I'm sure the CVs might go with you.
"How far should a person go in the name of true love?" asks Nicolas Sparks in the book, The Choice. I ask the same.
See..love between a parent and a child is different...honestly no one knows what love really is and how far one can go...
You cited giving into family pressure...when do u give into pressure? You do so when u are convinced u are wrong and they have made the right choice for you...trust me we all want our parents to be happy but at the end of the day it's an individual's life...I agree that both parents and children need to communicate for this...if you do not ask, how will u ever know what they would have said...
Second..u cited if they love someone else...of course u let them go...by doing that..u are showing character..and that's what I am talking about...now take Najma and Imraan for instance...she left him without giving their relationship a chance...was that fair? Did she suddenly realize Asad will be against it...no na...and then Imraan...had he respected her feelings...would he have called her yesterday...no..he would have left it as it is...
We cannot say how far a couple will go in their life..but all I know is that when Love is not absolute, life eventually runs out of fuel...there is no grey area in love...it's there or it isn't...strength of character is always needed to love..because to love means to put your loved one before yourself...to be that selfless, u need character...
..when i say I love someone, I have to put a lot of thought into it...with great happiness, i need to be ready for a greater responsibility...I Love you...these three words are really thrown around with a lot of disdain...and it is sad..honestly...I mentioned it in a previous comment, but I am mentioning it again...with most of this world falling prey to mediocrity, Love turned out to be the biggest casualty of them all...
Put Imraan-Najma and Asad-Zoya on the same level...u will get what I am trying to say😊
