Engrossing the episode was--- loved the dialogues and the unfurling of each of the characters coming into their own! These are the kind of episodes I love where the story moves ahead and how each player is a cog in the wheel- so intricately interwoven in the big story!
Rashid showing his mettle was truly great- he is the one who is the cause of all the raaz so good to see him standing up for justice finally---taking on Bainseena and Razia atlast!
Nikhat finally comes into her own and takes on Bhainseena and Imran! Enough---no more! we donnot wish to break this relationship but it has to be based on mutual trust and love!
Ayaan is maturing and it was so evident today- the way he didnot loose his cool but sidled upto Nikhat- I am there for you!! and then taking on Imraan--great maturity---the dialogues were just what was needed---do you realise you spineless creature what you are doing?
Shireen brought out all her angst --second wife, two daughters, a husband who has divided loyalties - and stood firm in her belief!
Razia for once was made to look like a nonentity--- loved it!
Gaffur Miya-- You are going to eat crow very soon---so live in your fools paradise till you can---all your tehzeeb and tameez and false izzat is going to be ground to dust!
Haseena Bi-- all her 'dhamkis' and blabber reduced to dust! Go climb a tree!
Imran- being spineless ---Gul ithrough Imran s showing so well what the Indian male is---real 'chuha' at home and a 'sher' outside! I can do what I want as long as Mom does not know!!!!! Jhuti izzat ka sawal hai!
...and what can i say about the Khan khandaan... each one excelling in their roles... and HOW!
Dilshaad Mom-- her 'niceness' an amiable nature shows in everything she says or does---but dont mess with me - I will make you regret it!
Asad Ahmed Khan showing the right mixture of the Sher Ahmed Khan and the 'In Love' Ahmed Khan! The determination and confidence of the earlier Asad as well as the compassionate, penitent, giving Lover! Mindblowing! 'Aap meri zindagi hain aur main apni zindagi ko mahfoos nahi hone dunga!'
Zoya Farooqui brings out all that is so lovable about her nature stamping on all her own angst! The loving friend and sister-in-law (such a beautiful, poignant scene her trying to make Najma smile)
The absolutely besotted lover of Asad- aap meri zindagi hain-- ek haat se lete to dusre haat se deta!
Najma finally showing she has a life and is not only a wallflower!
I simply love these episodes, some revelation, some communication,character growth so that the story moves ahead! Nothing was redundant as every bit of the episode was so necessary and so well executed.
