She remembered how they'd found out who her father was. To say she was shocked, would be an understatement. Never in her wild dreams she thought he was her father, the man who was loathed by the man she loves. When her father hugged her, she felt over-whelmed. She was delighted to know he was ready to accept her. But when she saw him, all her happiness faded away seeing his disgusted expressions.
She had lost hope of meeting her father, when Asad told her that he will make her meet his father. She was delighted when he said this and shocked to see who her father was. The man who took away their happiness. The culprit of their happiness, who was hated by the person she loved.
She felt torn, torn between her father and her love. She had noticed Asad's disgusted and angry glare, which sent chills down her spine. He was disgusted and angry at...her? She couldn't bear that hatred on his face when she hugged her father. Did he hate her? This question roamed in her head like a whirlwind, giving her a headache. She stood up and wiped her tears. She wanted answers.

Slightly, she opened the door of his room to find him standing against the window, with expression she couldn't fathom. She looked around to find his room in to a complete mess. The result of his anger. She gulped, trying to suppress the tears forming in her eyes.
"Mr. Khan" she softly called out to him.
"Go away Zoya..." he spoke in a cold tone and turned away from her.
Tears brimmed in her eyes seeing this. "Mr. Khan. Please lis..."
"I said leave!" He spoke up a bit loudly this time, " leave me alone"
"I will not leave until you answer my question" she said determinedly.
"I don't like repeating myself Zoya"
"Do you hate me?" Her voice quivered. He closed his eyes, as if knowing this was coming. "You hate me, don't you?" He could sense hurt and pain in hr voice which he couldn't bear. He turned around and cupped her face, and placed his lips on hers, taking her by surprise. He kissed her softly, pouring out the love he had for her, while she responded with equal love.
Once they broke apart, he cupped her face and brought her closer to her, "I can never hate you Zoya. Never." He whispered in his husky voice. "But I can't forget the fact that you are his daughter...the one who is responsible for my Ammi's sorrows."
"Does that makes me sinful? It makes me responsible of the pain Phupi got?" she sobbed.
"No. Not at all." He said.
"You can never hurt anyone" She looked at him with tears in her eyes.
"Then why am I getting punished?" She sobbed. "I can't live without you...please don't do this to me" her voice came out as a mere whisper which broke his heart.
"You have to make a choice Zoya." She looked at him with confused eyes. "You have to choose between me and your father"
"Mr. Khan..." she was bewildered.
"No Zoya. You have to make a choice" he said.
There was a moment of silence in the room, which seemed like forever. Both of them couldn't take this killing silence anymore. While Zoya was lost in thoughts, Asad guessed what she wanted.
He left her. As he moved away from her, she came out of her thoughts and looked at him, confused.
"Go Zoya" he spoke as he turned away from her. Her silence told him that she chose her father. "Go to your father" he said the last part with disgust.
She had tears in her eyes. He closed his eyes in pain. "Mr. Khan..."
"Go. Just go."
Their was a moment's silence again, both trying to hide their pain. He could feel her come closer to him and keep her head on his shoulder while her hands came up to his chest and hugged him. He held her soft hands and closed his eyes, "Please Zoya.."
"I wanted to be with my abbu...but not at the cost of loosing you" she whispered, her eyes closed. She had made her choice.
He opened his eyes, tears of happiness glistened in them. He turned around and took her in his warm and loving embrace. How he loved her! He placed a kiss on her hair while she sobbed on his shoulder.
Once they broke apart, he wiped her tears and kissed her forehead. He brought her hand to his lips and noticed the cut on her hand.
"I've hurt you a lot, right?" He kissed the cut on her hand, "does it pain?" He asked.
"Not anymore" she said honestly, looking in his eyes as he took her in another embrace.
