Absolutely agree! I wrote in a few posts that he is not as bad as much as I expected him to be. He really did love Najma and she was the one who called it off because of his brother. IMO both are weak because if Najma had chosen to fight for her love, things wouldn't have come to this. So it was love? I don't think so. To me, it was more of an infatuation. And I don't think Najma will get married to Imran. But yes, he deserves a chance at redemption. But what he did with Nikhat wasn't right. He didn't love her fine but then what if Hasina hadn't created a ruckus, he might have gone ahead and got married to Nikhat and would have continued to love Najma. Nikhat would have been trapped in a loveless marriage and that would have been unfair to her. But I do understand Imran a bit better now and like you said, its because of his upbringing and that toad who is his mother is to be blamed. She is just good for nothing.

The following were the issues i had with Imran

1) I had thought he had played Najma - however it was quiet the opposite. Najma had lead Imran on and broken his heart. Being a brown Muslim girl at university with majority of friends from other cultures i had often faced the dilemma of accepting an offer for a date with someone from a different culture but i strongly believe that if i could not justify or fight for the relationship with my parents then i had no right to accept that offer for even a cup of coffee for it would mean leading the other person on. Najma knew how Asad was so what was the point in starting something if she knew she could not fight for it - Dilshad has always been open and cool so she could have confided in her mother - Arku Asad was not IMO a good enough excuses to not fight for a relationship that meant a great deal to her. From the FB it seemed Najma was totally at fault. Maybe it was the guilt of breaking Imrans heart and not being totally honest with Imran from the very beginning or maybe her talk with Zoya made her realize that she needed closure to move on from the guilt and thats why she went to meet Imran -we do not know what route the CVs will take so judgment is reserved.

I answered it above. IMO it wasn't love. It was more like infatuation and both of them were weak enough to not stand up for it. If Najma was at fault then so was he, he shouldn't have let her go if he really loved her.

However it will be interesting to see if Najma will now fight for her so called first love or will Zoya have to fight the battle for her as both Asad and Dilshad will be against this relationship?

CC, I think initially Asad might be against it but then as a man who understands love now, he'll come to understand Najma's POV. Maybe Zoya will try and talk to him about it. But it looks like he will support Najma and hence there will be a conflict with Ayaan in the process. Both brothers siding with their sisters.

2) My second issue with Imran had been that he is Tannu's baby daddy - well we do not know what sort of relationship did he and Tanveer have. IMO it was more than a single one night stand but more of a booty call sort of relationship for he seemed to know his way about the shady hotel (note he was respectful with Nikhat). IMO him having a friends with benefit sort of relationship with Tanveer is a lot better than leading on some poor naive girl at work or school. Also in this day and age of internet expecting a guy to practice abstinence is a bit unrealistic for then they come like OCD /Akru Asad or have restless energy and anger management issues like Ayaan who set cars on fire.

Yes, regarding Tanveer I am a bit confused. Last night, i wrote on this thread that the baby may not be Imran's because Tanveer has lied so much. Who knows she may be lying about this one too. But like you pointed out, we so not know the entire story so I guess I'll wait for it before drawing any conclusion.

However i do believe that if one cannot practice abstinence than one should be able to face the consequences as condoms are 99% effective - ( that was the one lesson i learn by being a die hard friends fan). Asad had been ready to face the consequences but as Zoya had said not everyone can do it - Ghafoor could not - will Imran eventually do so if the baby is his for now he is of the opinion it is not - well the judgement call on that one is also reserved.

3) The other issue i had with Imran was that he lead Nikhat on - well my mother always use to tell my brother to always treat women the way he would want someone to teat his own mother, sister or wife ( and i use to roll my eyes). Now i am glad she did so forwhat Imran did to Nikhat is exactly what Ayaan did to Humeria. Ayaan lead Humeria on and then shattered Humeria's heart and broke her trust so badly that the poor girl has lost her own identity. Isn't this similar if not exactly what Nikhat will go through when she finds out Imran never loved her? Yes folks Karma is a bit*h

Yes unfortunately that is going to happen I think. Nikhat isn't at fault though. Imran has to redeem himself. He should apologize to her. Like even in the beginning, he used to be romantic with her and their talks over phone etc. He did lead her on.

What had made Nikhat fall in love with Imran for he never once defended her in front of his mother (IMO Hassina bi's treatment towards Nikhat was Shireens fault. u need to put a bully in their place the every first time so that they never try to bully u or ur loved one again). IMO it was the very same thing that made Najma fall in love with Imran - he was the very first guy both these girls from very restricted households came into contact with. Imran did not nor does he have any Salman Khan charm power - the fault is of the culture and the strict atmosphere these girls were brought up in where they have no other men to compare Imran with (btw: It was the same case with Humeria where the only guy she knew who complemented/ flirted with her was Ayaan so she fell for him). All the clues were there for Nikhat to see that Imran did not love her but was being nice and was spineless but she had no other male friend or relationship other than brother and father to compare it to. They say girls often fall for men like their fathers. In both Nikhat and Najma's case it holds true - i had so hoped that in Najma's case it would be the case of nurture over nature as Asad has been more of a father to Najma than Rashid ever was but alas that did not hold true.

I agree. That is why I feel that when Zoya gave a pep talk to Najma, she was fine. I think she feels insecure that what if someone else is not able to love her because of her weight issues. Imran loved her the way she is. So maybe that is why she still holds on to it. Also ishq pe zor nahi 😆 You can't help who you fall for.

Speaking of parent figures for all thoes with issue with Hassina bi - well Dilshad and Asad will need to show Hassina that she cannot bully them - unfortunately the SM elders did not do so. We all wanted Hassina bi to be stuck with BR but remember Asads words to Hassina bi that if he can give he can take away 2 folds worth more? Well what happens if all the money/jewelery/car/house she has collected in the name of Imran and Nikhat Nikka is taken away and further more her precious son is also taken away from her? What is she left with to brag about without Imran as a bargaining tool in the society? Poetic justice for a greedy women as IMO Asad will not give her a single penny since he will be against the marriage. Also Imran is well aware of what type of a person his mother is and had promised Nikhat that they will live separately after marriage - the jury on that one is still open - lets see if Imran can grow a spine for his so call first love i.e Najma and vice-e-versa.

@ underlined: Yes, it'll be interesting to watch how they take this ahead. Will Imran now be able to redeem himself and prove worthy of Najma? Will he fight for her because he claims to love her.

My last issue with Imran had been that the apple never falls far from the tree. With figures like a spineless father (as seen in the initial episodes) and an uncle like Inspector Ansari for role model can i expect him to make the right decisions - well my expectations are low but then Ayaan had Asad as a role model and he has not made the right decisions (accepting money from Razia for bribe, setting the car on fire to name a few) so can i give Imran the benefit of doubt i think i am forced to since i gave Ayaan a chance at least twice before if not more.

IMO everyone in QH reaps what they sow and unfortunately as much as i hate to say this Najma will have to face the consequences of her past actions - In fact all the Khan kids other than Asad have had it pretty easy and will need to learn their own life lesson and say Qabool hai no matter how difficult the path maybe.

Yes, he certainly deserves a second chance IMO.

PS: All the folks who are all excited to see the fireworks as a result of Imran do not realize that if Asad finds out his sister i.e Nikhat's wedding got cancelled ( which was to be held right after Eid as well) there is no way Asad the guy who always does the right thing and puts others before him will go ahead and get married. 😭 I just hope the CVs have thought this track through the way they did the SR track. (since i cannot stop myself from predicting i think SM folks will blame Asad saying he is getting married while stealing Imran for his own real sister proving Nikhat is his sautelie sister and in the heat of the moment Asad will say that Zoya will stay at SM until Nikhat does not get married or something like that)

I really have no clue about AsYa nikaah now 😆 One moment it seems it'll happen and then I feel it might not. So I'll just go with the flow now. Lots of drama coming up. But why would Asad ask Zoya to stay at SM if he doesn't know about Gaffur. I don't think he'll do that. He knows the kind of people they are and he would never want Zoya to stay with people like GaZia. 😆

PPS:Thank you Delena90 for having the hindsight to predict correctly (i was totally in denial) and being brave enough to make multiple post on this topic. A difference of opinion is always need on IF IMO for a coin always has 2 different sides🤗

btw: it just occurred to me that what if Ghafoor drags Nikhat and Imran to moti masjid to get their Nikka ma read by a priest and the priest says he cannot as he needs to recite another couples nikka nama so Ghafoor tells the priest to recite Imran/Nikhats nikka nama and he will do so for the other couple i.e ASYA - Ghafoor cannot stop in the middle of reciting the nikka nama when AAK name is read out so he gets ASYA married mean while Nikhat or Imran say Qabool nahi hai - a bit too far fetched scenario?
