CC i am going to respond here because quoting is becoming so long!

Frankly i dont see Zoya breaking Asad's heart! Gul herself has said she is Zoya and so far Zoya has always been right. Although she has made mistakes the cv's have twisted them in such a way that it shows zoya was not wrong the situation was tricky! Zoya represents the writers consciousness so IMO thats why she has never been wrong and that is why i feel she will never break her promise! Asad may distant himself or release Zoya from the promise to get to know Gaffur but she won't.

On top of that i really dont get why people are saying Zoya needs to grow up and what not. We are forgetting that this is Zoya's personality. She voices whatever she feels but Asad does not so the few times he expresses himself we feel he is more deeper and intense and mature. But Zoya talks all the time and because of that we miss the times she is showing maturity or expressing herself. Recently she has said how asad is her zindagi, how she has left finding her father on kismat, how she asked asad to always be with her, how she called him her prince charming and she understands Asads troubled childhood and she even told dilshad how emotional and soft he is due to which she wants to fulfill his wishes, then she even talked about how she wants to get married quickly. The thing is we miss these things about Zoya because she talks a lot!

Finally, IMO zoya is so mature because she not once doubted asad about her father being alive, she gave up looking for her father for asad, she put her life at risk, understood him at a deeper level due to which even after so many insults she never left his side, finally when asad broken the nikah the second time she did not doubt asad and she knew it was billis game and when she found out that it was because billi is pregnant she even understood the situation then. Goes to show how Zoya is always right! I think this is more than mature so i dont see why people think she should grow up. Its just that now she is in a happy place with Asad and she has always been an innocent bubbly girl and we are seeing her original character. Personally i feel something will happen in Zoyas life soon (possible the mother truth) which will make zoya the opposite of who she is she will go from bubbly to depressed and i think they are setting up for that contrast when zoyas past will rip this happy go lucky girl apart!

Finally her being impulsive in the Najma scenario IMO is more for storyline! I am sure the bros will clash over Zoya possibly when ayaan points fingers at her and asad defenda her!

Okay..just gonna be honest..I forwarded the whole episode..only watched my AsYa..man..they were adorable today!

Devika and I were just discussing yesterday that most of the scenes that we mentioned the other day (CC's fav scene post) were from the past--yes, there were quite a few from the recent episodes but we all have our favorite scenes from the old episodes!

I have said this before that recent scenes have been good but I haven't been "wowed" yet..
But today was definitely the cutest cute ever..LOVED it! Asad was his Akdu self and Zoya was the same Zoya from the past too! They both have accepted each other the way that they are!

Asad's drug line wasn't the nicest but that's who he is..he doesn't need to put up a mask..he is himself with Zoya..and Zoya didn't take any offense either because she knows her Akdu too well..These two are so comfortable with each other now..they don't need to act all lovey dovey to express their love..in kay arguments mai bhi pyaar hai..gusay mei bhi pyaar hai..awww!

Niks, remember how we wanted Asad to do or say something in order to show his claim on Zoya..the ownership kinda thingy..them belonging to each other..Though not in front of the other Khans/Saddiquis just yet, he did proudly take Zoya's hand in front of his teacher and showed that Zoya belongs to him!

Love how Zoya knows what Asad doesn't like..she knows when she's saying something that Asad wouldn't like..every time she said something in front of the teacher that Asad doesn't like, she looked at him to check his reaction and stopped right there..lol..Asad's look is enough to tell her when to stop or when to keep going..so husband-wife-ish already!

Asad's past (teacher) and his present (Zoya) both in one scene..past gives us the insight of Asad's sad life and his present just shows us how blessed he is now..and the great future ahead..of course there will be hiccups but as long as these two are together, no weapon formed against them shall prosper..they will overcome everything! :)

Yes today Asad claimed Zoya as his in his own unique way. Zoya reciprocated as well. Plus the thank you she said to Asad for Najma was the best. Asad always wanted a girl who loves his mom and sister more than him.

I loved the hand holding! Their connection is at a different level.

I agree with you about their great future. Asad and Zoya have both suffered so much. They deserve to be together and happy. Yes problems will come but IMO they will be external. Both Asad and Zoya will be going through a lot on the emotional level but God has united them during the holy month of Ramzan and I don't think they will be separated on an emotional level at least.

I know many people are thinking Zoya may break Asad's heart but I don't agree. Zoya is as sensitive as Asad but she hides it behind her comedy so we also don't notice it. Instead Asad the little he expresses but whenever he does it is intense so it immediately strikes us!

I was just like you. I fwded almost the whole epi except for AsYa n AyRa. Today's AsYa scene was soo cute. I still can't believe how well KSG is portraying the shyness n innocence of Asad. Seriously, this man is amazingly talented 👏

Anyway, I totally agree with both of you that it was great the way he wanted to show Zoya off. I hadn't exactly thought of it from the ownership point of view but now that u mention it, u guys are completely right. It was great to see him stepping up.

Honey, I actually found the drug line hilarious. I don't think he meant it in an insulting way but just his sheer shock that she actually said that got him to say. It was more like his other one liners. It totally cracked me up. But, it is also true that they have got into that comfort zone where they are completely at ease to be themselves with each other without being judged by one another. I like that though they're in love, the basic essence of their characters has not been lost. Akdu is still akdu n Zoya is still pagli Zoya.

Another thing which I loved about the scene was that Zoya said Asad again. It really is strange but nice to hear her say his name. Really hoping we get to that stage soon.

I also liked that Zoya knew when to stop with the teasing of Asad esp in front of others. She knows that its ok in private lekin bahar logon ke saamne, she knows how far to go n if she starts to cross that line, one look from Asad makes her understand that he's uncomfortable or not happy about it. It really is great to see the level of understanding between the two n also that words are not always necessary to convey the msg or feelings.

Both of you said it right that they clearly showed what a lonely and painful past he had and in comparison, the happy and loving present and the happy future to come. It was shown in such an unexpected yet fun way without being over dramatic about it. Niki, I liked the way you explained the difference in the way Zoya n Asad express their emotions. Both are very different but equally sensitive. They just have very different ways of emoting them. Although I do think that sometimes, Asad's emotions are a bit more intense, and there is a largeness to his emotions that sort of take you over (if that makes sense). Matlab, jab pyaar karta hai toh itni shiddat se karta hai, jab anger hai toh woh bhi hadd se zyada aur jab dard hai toh poori ki poori zindagi hi bikhar jaati hai. Maybe its also that Zoya's mechanism of dealing with her emotions is with smiling and comedy. The only time she lost that joy was when she lost Asad n that time, she covered the hurt with anger more than anything else.
