Good Morning Appi…….Ehsaan woke up and hugged zoya……..

Good Morning mera bacha………. Get up and get ready. I will drop you to school……..

Appi, you promised to give me remote controlled aero-plane, where is it? Ehsaan asked with cuteness………

Oh, I am so sorry, I just forgot. You know na appi abhi abhi naye college mein gyi hai, to bhool gyi, I promise aaj le aungi………

Nahi, ammi , ap appi ko bol dijiye…..main inse baat anhi kar rha…….. Ehsaan said with false anger on his face……….

This was 21 years old zoya's small family.. zoya, her ammi Zainab and her six years old brother…..Ehsaan……. Her father had died three years ago leaving just a home on the name of property. It was not his fault… it was just destiny… He was an architect by profession, who earned a lot. But lost a lot just because of Zoya and for zoya, Who was their only child then..…. After his death, zoya has taken complete responsibility on her shoulders… She was quite intelligent and for her studies, she was continuously getting scholarships… but for running home, she had started tuition academy, which was running well and she was earning enough for her family.

Six years before when she came to Delhi with her family, she was alone having no friends but due to her intelligence, she had made a lot friends in last six years……. Sweetest from them was Ayaan and his sister Nikhat… Ayaan was her classmate and Nikhat was one year junior to them…while tannu was one of the richest girls in the school with great attitude but slowly as she came close to zoya, and took her help in homework…… she too got included in the group…they all belonged to high status families, but zoya was a girl with values and self-respect. She never took any kind of help from them… even Ayaan tried to help her many times but she simply rejected it and he was in awe of her this habit…… that's why he loved her….. He truly loved her… he used to purpose her… but she never accepted being even his best friend……Ayaan knew there was some dark past of zoya, but neither he asked nor she told ever…..

There was a knock on the gate…….Zainab went and opened the door……..

Ayaan Bhaijaan…. Ehsaan ran towards Ayaan, who had come there……

Abhi tak hamare Ehsaan miyan ready nahi huye? Ayaan asked him naughtily…….

Bhaijaan, aj ap hame drop karenge school………

But why?

Aj main appi se naraaj hun………. Woh fir apna promise bhool gyi. Pta nahi appi itni laparwah kyon hai……. Main to tang aa gya hun appi se……….Ehsaan said in childish way……..making all laugh……

Ok Sir, as you wish. Go get ready soon. I will drop you today……..

Ehsaan left with Zainab to get ready for school……. When Zoya asked Ayaan……..So early in morning? Everything fine?

Ya from my side but not from your side……….. Ayaan said

Means?

Kal kya huya tha? Ayaan asked…….

Nothing Ayaan….. Zoya said looking on other side……

Zoya, you consider me atleast a friend? then could not you tell me ? Ayaan said….Zoya kept quite…

So silence as usual…. Zoya I am always a friend for you, you can tell me whenever you feel… Ayaan said

Bhaijaan, I am ready lets go……… Ehsaan said coming to the living room………. Aur bhaijaan apni dost se keh dijiyega…… mujhse baat na kare………. He said referring to zoya ad left to main gate pulling Ayaan with him giving zoya a fade smile on her face…..

Three months had passed, Asad was trying his hard to mend his relation with zoya but zoya was not giving him a single positive reaction…she had found a new way to be with Tannu or Ayaan all the time, she didn't leave herself alone even for a second, that Asad was waiting for, he had understood, zoya had not told anything about her past to anyone, not even to Ayaan , whom he was considering her besty at the time….. he could sense Ayaan's care towards zoya which was pushing him a bit back too…. It could be he instead or more than that…if he would not have…….. And they would have been together ….. This feeling was making him weaker and his guilt was creating more emptiness inside him…

But fate was always not zoya's side, one day when Zoya and Ayaan reached in the class, Asad had already reached and was sitting on the seat where zoya used to sit, while tannu was not coming on the day.….. When Ayaan saw a new girl in the class and he ran to sit with her, it was normal practice, he used to sit with zoya but if he saw any other pretty girl, he used to go to her thinking may be this time zoya will be jealous and feel his love… while zoya used to be happy thinking maybe he will like any other girl more than her and will take right decision……

So zoya was left with no other option except sitting with Asad…

Zoya, please talk to me…. Asad pleaded…

Asad, please be away from me……. All zoya said and paid attention to her lecture…

As lecture finished, Ayaan texted zoya, he was leaving with the new girl….. Which made zoya smile….she was about to leave the room alone as she tried to get up from seat, Asad held her hand …

She just shivered and sat back….she didn't want anybody to notice Asad's action…….

As all left, she shrugged Asad's hand…. Asad, what do you want now?

A forgiveness from you……..he pleaded.

Will that amend everything Asad? She asked looking into his eyes…..

Asad could not meet her eyes…..Zoya, please slap me, punish me the way you want but don't ignore me, don't be silent with me…… at times, I could not handle your silence for one day.. Even now I can't handle your silence…..I didn't know what I had done, That Akram and his friends made me do so….. and when I came to know the truth……. You had left……… everything was lost……. Please forgive me……… Asad was on his knees…..

Don't put the blame on Akram, Asad…… It was only you who mattered to me….. and moreover how could a new comer like Akram control the Great Asad Ahmed Khan's mind? Infect not only control but vanish your mind? Zoya shouted……and paused…

If it would have been just you, may be…… we could stay there… may be in future, I could be able to forgive you…… but it was your bad company…. Your friends… due to which, My family's honor, my life and everything was ruined ……we had to leave Bhopal, home, everything just because of you. My abbu was ruined in a day because of you….

I agree, what happened, was my fault, it was you who brought akram in our lives zoya……. We were happy together…. When it was only us……. It was you who asked me to be friends with him… Asad spoke…

And that was the biggest mistake of my life….. she took a deep breath….He was just new comer I didn't know him……. But it was you who beat him near to death on his second day of school, when he tried to be friend with me… and made both of us to feel sorry in front of principal…. That's why I had to make you patch up with him to avoid future conflictions……. But even didn't I warn you ke mujhe woh ladka pasand nahi ha? Didn't I say,Usski company galat hai? Remember Asad it was our first fight in eleven years of our friendship…. Jab amine tumhe uske sath smoking karte dekha tha…….

Zoya, that was not age of understanding…….. who thinks about right and wrong at adolescence? I was in same stage, his life style attracted me…… I could not avoid that…… Asad spoke… I know everything was my mistake and I am shameful on myself till now… can't we forget everything and give a fresh start? Asad was pleading….

Will abbu come back with fresh start? Zoya asked…….

What? he…………..? Asad left sentence incomplete in shock……

Nodded zoya…… Everything went wrong as we left Bhopal, you can't even imagine what fate had written for us…. he wanted to fight…… but it was me who still thought about you and made him decide to leave city instead of putting you behind bars…. Just because……. May be you had forgotten your friendship but I could not………. And she broke down…………Abbu had a severe heart attack after one month, we left Bhopal………. He could not do job for next one year….. Everything was finished…….When he got job again in Delhi……but three years before, he……… Zoya left the sentence incomplete…………this all happened just because of you Asad……and I hate you for all mishap in my life….. and she looked towards him… he was holding his head, severe pain was apparent on his face, his eyes were closed and he was about to fall on the floor……..

Asad…. Zoya shouted… she ran towards him and held him………Asad…….. She shouted again………..

Asad was trying to take something from his jacket, he was not able to…… she checked his pocket, there was a strip of medicine in it…. She thought of something ……she ran outside and brought water for him…… and put one tablet into his mouth, he was a bit relaxed but almost unconscious on the table……. She sprinkled water on his face…. He tried to get up but failed………… Zoya helped him to get up and made him drink water…..

Asad , are you ok? Zoya asked him in worried voice………

Hey Ayaan , lets go to canteen. Asad called Ayaan, they have been good friend in last three months….

Ya, come, I am waiting …. Ayaan said…

By the way, where is zoya? Call her too……. Asad said casually…….

Ayaan called zoya and asked her to reach canteen……she didn't know Asad was with him, she came there and was shocked to see a smiling Asad after so much confrontation as well as his bad health…infect she had seen his beautiful smile for the very first time in three months… was he happy for any reason? She was still thinking when Ayaan asked for order to Asad….

Ya please order a pizza and it should be spicier…… Asad told Ayaan…

Hey, its zoya's favorite….. Ayaan shouted…….. she loves spicy food…….

Ahaan? Asad smirked…. I didn't know…..while zoya was confused as well as tense…. What he wanted to prove and that too instead of all…

As pizza was served…. Both Ayaan and Zoya took the slices…. Zoya had it in hand but was still nervous…

What happened zoya? Itni nervous to tum exams mein bhi nahi hoti? Ayaan asked casually…

nn… nothing Ayaan… and she took a bite… when Asad too picked slice and was about to eat…suddenly zoys pushed his hand making slice as well as whole pizza fall on floor….

Zoya, kya huya? Ayaan was shocked…

There was a hair in the pizza….. she said while getting up…while a smile appeared on Asad's face…

Ayaan too left the slice there… let me complaint to manager zoya… and will order something else….

Chodo Ayaan abhi vaise bhi mood nahi hai….she looked at time… I have to pick Ehsaan and take him to market…. You know, otherwise he will be angry again….

Haan agar baat ehsaan miyan ki hai to fir to bhagna hi padega…. Warna Mr. Punctual tumhari watt lgadenge…. Ayaan smiled…. Ok, I am going on the same way, I will drop you there…

Ya, bring your car, I will be on the gate… zoya said while leaving, while Asad was listening to their conversation confusingly when Ayaan said him bye and left….

As Zoya left canteen and was near gate, suddenly Asad held her…zoya tried to get herself free but he was in no mood…

Asad chodo mujhe….Zoya shouted…

Definitely will leave zoya, Bus ek baar fir se kehdo, you don't care…

Ya, I don't…. zoya said turning her face away from him…

Then why did you threw pizza… now don't tell me because of hair… you can fool Ayaan but not me zoya….you knew, I am allergic to spicy food….Asad said….if you can still care so much for me? Then why can't you forgive me…..

Tears rolled over zoya's face…. To Kya karoon main Asad? I had accepted till now, I hate you and I didn't want to see you again ever in my life…. Kyon wapis aye tum meri life mein? Neither I can accept your apology, nor can see you in pain….

Her reply made Asad relax a bit…. He was considering it a new start of their relation…. May be one day she will forgive him too….

And who is this Ehsaan? Asad asked another question?

My brother… zoya told casually…

Your brother? Asad was surprised… you were single child of your parents and as much as I know, due to some accident, Zainab khala was not able to……Asad left sentence incomplete..

He is adopted…. Zoya completed…

What? Asad was more surprised…

Yes, my parents had adopted him, they always needed one baby boy…. Meanwhile one of their relative had become single mother… so they adopted her child….. He is my brother, my everything now….And I warn you Asad, be away for my family… my parents had loved you like her own son, because you completed their emptiness of a son in their life.. and it was only you, who brought the biggest shame at their door step… don't ever think to enter in my ammi's life again…. ab agar tumhari inquiry khatam ho gyi ho then will you leave my hand?

Asad had forgotten, he was still holding zoya's hand….

Hey whats going on zoya , I was calling you ? Ayaan said coming there….

Nothing Ayaan, Asad was just curious about Ehsaan….zoya said with a fake smile…..

Oh Ehsaan? He is a cutie pie…. Zoya's younger brother….. you want to meet him? Saturday is my birthday and he will definitely come there…. You will be surprised to meet him Asad… he is too smart to his age….Ayaan said with excitement….Zoya, I think now we should leave otherwise you know how will he react…

Ya, lets go…. Zoya said while giving a look towards Asad….
