Maybe it has everything to do with the editing. Infact, if I remember the interviews of qh team post awards, it was also obvious that Surbhi and Shalini weren't even present at the time of Karan receiving the award (as someone also mentioned earlier here)... They had already left!...and we still saw them in the picture...and karan and surbhi were speaking about him copying pasting her compliment and that I did catch ofcourse, while they received the Jodi award. So in a way they did compliment each other already during the Jodi award...
