Since this is the FAQ, I will attempt to answer it...the purpose of Ajmer track was not a nikah or physical reunion..it was a spiritual guiding of Asad and Zoya...
Asad came heart broken...asked for only Zoya- his prayers were answered when Zoya declared from the hill top that SHE WILL FIGHT FOR HER LOVE...
Zoya came searching for herself...because she couldn't stop reacting to a man she could not hate...and a promise was delivered to her- that she would find whatever she was looking for- that was ASAD.
And she did...without being there on the night to know what happened actually, she understood that Asad WAS INNOCENT. In fact, well enough to counter a Tanveer who asked her if she had proof of Asad's innocence that the proof was there on the witch's face...(Loved Amrapali's expressions there.👏) That is the greatest highpoint of the track...
that ZOYA WILL BELIEVE IN ASAD'S INNOCENCE MORE THAN HE HIMSELF...when the track started with Asad asking her to believe him...👏
Did they have to go to Ajmer to do this...like Dilshad said, Asad needed to be away from the place...so did Zoya- they had to be transplanted to a diff world for that - any set would hjave done, but I felt tadap and the garden confession were beautifully shot, so it was well worth it!
REST- I agree, the track has been dragging because of Billi, but I SINCERELY FEEL that if you focus on Tanveer, and hoped for a nikah... you will miss out on the love story that is growing silently...
