u mean to say...they never switch on the TV at all...even for news...

and the kids at home...how u will manage..without they seeing cartoons...pls reply me in detail...
i could not control my 9 yr old without she watching TV...and what it is all abt...

and if i am not wrong...it is for some 40 days...right...? then how can u really manage...

can anyone explain abt the ramdan fast...pls...

Ramzaan is a holy month in which we have to pray to allah everytime
and abt managing not see tv that is called patience dear ramzaan teaches us patience

hadiths about Ramadan

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) addressed his companions on the last day of Sha'ban, saying, "Oh people! A great month has come over you; a blessed month; a month in which is a night better than a thousand months; month in which Allah has made it compulsory upon you to fast by day, and voluntary to pray by night. Whoever draws nearer (to Allah) by performing any of the (optional) good deeds in (this month) shall receive the same reward as performing an obligatory deed at any other time, and whoever discharges an obligatory deed in (this month) shall receive the reward of performing seventy obligations at any other time. It is the month of patience, and the reward of patience is Heaven. It is the month of charity, and a month in which a believer's sustenance is increased. Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all." [Narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah]

"This month (of Ramadan) has begun and there is a night in it better than one thousand month. (So,) any one deprived of its (blessings) is actually deprived of all goodness. Indeed, He is truly deprived who is kept away from its good. (Ibn Majah and authenticated by Al-Albani)"

sorry..i am asking all this...bcoz...i am a hindu...knows abt my religion...and studied in a christian school...so knows little abt..that religion...but i have no clue...about muslim religion...

first i am in a dilemma...whther to c Qh or not...but as it is 4 lions...i started seeing this...except the first 5 episodes...i have not missed any episode till date...

and i dont understand urdu..though i know hindi...

sorry...if iam asking more and more questions...just wants to know the basics of muslim religion...thats it...

Idk whts the point leaving everything (like watching dramas etc) ONLY in the month of Ramadan...?? & thn after Ramadan u again start everything...so y ONLY in ths month...wht abt the whole year...?? Hv u ever thought abt wht u do in the whole year..??
