Would you believe your eyes or heart?

What would we do if we were in Zoya's place, trust your eyes or your heart? I would probably trust my eyes too, but than again knowing the promise Tanveer made to Zoya, she should follow her heart! Zoya's reaction was right on, but after weeks going by, shouldn't she have remembered Tanveer's promise?
