Ayaan is trying to defend Asad to their siblings by saying maybe he cheated on Zoya as a means of escaping this commitment? In HIS eyes there is no way that Asad would otherwise cheat on on the women he is about to marry!

Has Ayaan NOT yet realised that Asad is madly in love with Zoya?? That is the part that surprises me! It is true Asad never confessed this to him? But surely the look in his eyes alone when he looks at Zoe, should have given the game away? But maybe his OWN circumstances has coloured his judgement??

What Ayan did yesterday was simply draw parallels between his and bhaijaan's plights.

That is what we all do in real life- we can identify better with a person if we have goone through the same experience...yes Ayan was wrong here...but not intentionally- HE BADLY WANTED TO DEFEND HIS BHAIJAAN and there was no other way to rationalise him in front of his siblings in whose eyes ASAD HAD JUST FALLEN.

EXACTLY. He wanted to bring himself and his Bhaijan (haaiyee ) plights parallels ⭐️ 👏 👏

Ayan shouts at Humeira- he has been under a lot of pressure lately- he almost killed someone, his sister's wedding broke, he was blackmailed yet again in to a relationship he did not welcome and now, his bhaijaan was in great trauma. That doesn't mean he can be rude to Humeira- he was WRONG there too. If Humeira had not persisted with her Q, he would have simply stood like a puppet for the nikah- Since she did, repeatedly- HE VENTED OUT.

Ayan tried all means to get his dad released, and when everything else failed- he had to succumb to Raziya's tactics- not something he did for himself, but for his ammi and his sisters- IT WAS NOT AN ACT OF DISGRACE- IT WAS AN ACT OF SACRIFICE- He went against all his morals and Asad's advice, for WHAT HE BELIEVED WAS RIGHT_ he believed his father was innocent and should not be punished- so did the rest of the world except Asad. And he had to pay a great price- sell his soul to the devil herself to buy the peace of mind for his family- he is a man wronged here, for the wrong course of action he took. (Does the end justify the means?)

yes she had, if she wanted she could have said she wanted the Nikaah. 😳 😆

Had she not harboured feelings for him, even when she knew he had none- thus inciting her mother to go after him again.

When he came back she thought he finally had fallen for her. 😳 moreover people and circumstances and Ayaan's silence made her feel as such 😳 😭 🥺

What if she had really MOVED ON? And told the world in no uncertain terms through words and actions that she had moved on...would things have come to this?

Its hard to move ahead, Zoya is a proof of that 😊 Why shouldnt you fight for something you love? why shouldn't you stand up for something or someone whom you love? 😳 😊

She let the bird fly, with the string still attached- the freedom she granted him did not really set him free.

A word on Nikhat: Being a woman, she sympathises with Zoya. Her anger is directed to her bhaijaan- he is paying for his actions.She does not know the truth of the situation. In fact, it was her accusation that drove Ayan to defend his bhai, drawing from his own immature experiences...

Does Nikhat realise that the very same payment is due from her Imran on a much greater scale?

He needs to learn a lesson and he will eventually. I am not too surprised that he couldn't understand AsYa's equation. That for him is like rocket science 😆 But he is also in a way like Asad, needs proofs to believe. So unless he hears it from either Asad or Zoe, he won't ever get it. And yesterday with that dialogue of his, he made Asad look like a jackass. 😆 I think the writers should really make him stop saying that "main apne bhaijaan ko unse bhi zada jaanta hu."

But the only good that came out of it was that Humeira got to know about his feelings and I want that girl to back off now from having any association with him. He first needs to learn and respect Humeira as a human being.

I don't think Ayaan deserved any of the bashing really.

Even he realised that Asad actually wanted to get married when they had that chat a while ago.

Now when Asad has done something wrong and his wedding has been broken off, Ayaan can't believe it. It seems like he is a broken man just like Asad. Everyone was turning against the brother that he adores, and he himself knows his brother has done wrong and therefore is grasping at anything to defend him.

Ayaan was wrong about what he said, but he is just trying to make sense of Asad's actions, and since no-one knows Tanveers true colours I think his thinking is logical. Besides Asad isn't exactly saying anything about what happened.

I think he is also disturbed by his own situation. He is wronging a woman by allowing her to believe he loves her, here the brother who he thought as the most perfect amazing person ever has cheated the woman he loves, and his father left his stepmother and went with his mother. He has always been surrounded by betrayal and deceit. The people in his family seem to be idiots and the only good person he had in his life who is probably more like a father to him than his father, is Asad, but now that seems destroyed. I think that's why he was defending Asad's actions however he could. He just wanted to believe and make everyone believe that his brother is not at fault. I think that is his love for Asad rather than anything else.

Wonderful post, yes he was trying to draw parallelism. I absolutely love this characterization, its more realistic I feel than Asad's. He is not strong as he was never allowed to grow, he makes decisions at the need of moment and when moment comes, he is not brave to accept it but then he is not backing out either, he loves someone he is not scared to fight for him/her right there without giving second thought... Love the way he is learning now from his own mistakes and growing up gradually..
