Do you know that 'Do You Know' is my favorite song??? I just love that song n Enrique's voice!!!N you are right it suits Zoya's situation when she thought Asad betrayed her...I just can't wait to see the airport reunion scene!! I guess airport is damn lucky for Asya!!!N one more thing about the song is that the second line is my favorite... do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know the lock on the door has changed...These lines always send me to introspect mode right from the first time I heard the song...
Wow. This is now one of my fav FFs! I can't wait for the happy ending! And I'm guessing there will be a confession too! Eeep (if you've ever watched Hannah Montana I'm sure you know how lily does it)!!!!!!
Thanks for the pm!

Sorry guys, been a bit lazy with updating.
And since I've taken a huge gap between the updates, here's the recap:
RECAP: Zoya leaves for Ajmer, however she finds out about tanveer and asks for asad to come pick her up at the delhi airport.
Part 8:
Ya Allah, what did I do? I'm not ready to meet him. Why did I say that? Urghhh, now I can't do much, can I? Zoya, why can't you ever think before saying? No wonders you're a musibat magnet… wait what? No I'm not musibat magnet. And it's just Mr. Khan, I can still ignore him and be mad at – he is at fault for trusting her. Although that isn't a good enough reason for me to leave him, it's definitely a good enough reason to be mad at him. I'm not going to let this go so easily – be what may. Hmph.

"Are you sure she asked me to pick her up at the airport?!?" He was elevated in joy.
"Yes Asad, go get ready, you only have tonight… she's arriving tomorrow afternoon. You have to leave now if you want to reach Delhi on time." Dilshaad was overjoyed to see her son happy again – happy? He has never been this happy ever. Not before Zoya, and definitely not after she left.

She asked for me to pick her up! I hope I'm not dreaming! She really did. Oh no, I have to shave and eat well, I'll also wear her favourite shirt… She shouldn't see me in this mess. And I'll buy her a gift as well – maybe a nice pair of jeans and top, her favourite type. I have to pack some food for her – she'll be starving after she arrives. No, I'll get her pizza and diet coke. And I'll take a blanket just in case she wants to nap – it'll be a long drive. May be we'll stay in Delhi for a night, I can't drive 12 hours forth and back. That'll also give me some time to spend with her. This week without her has felt like a hundred years. I can't live without my musibat anymore.

Ya Allah, thank you for uniting my children. Thank you for filling their lives with joy – I hope it is here to stay. I don't want to see them in this state ever again. Make their bond so strong that no one – and I mean no one, not even you – should be able to break it or create any misunderstanding.
Dilshaad was brought out of her train of thoughts as Najma held her hand and gave her a look – as if she knew what her mother was thinking. She gave Dilshaad the re-assuring nod that said, yes ammi… the joy is here to stay. They will be one and nothing shall come in the way now.

"Zeenat, I spoke to Zoya and she asked me to tell Asad to pick her up. I called him and told him. Finally the days of sorrow are gone. Our little Zoya will have an abundance of happiness. And Asad will keep her well – just like a queen."
"Thank you Allah! Anwar, you don't know how happy I am. I feel so relieved now; I couldn't stand Zoya's condition. And now I feel like I have fulfilled my responsibilities towards her. May she always be happy and blessed, that's all I pray for now!"

She stood in the immigration line, impatience was written all over her face. She was very fidgety – from fiddling with her earring to straightening her hair. She cursed herself for travelling like a mess. She looked down on her clothes and found herself in track pants – the kind she normally wore to sleep back in New York. She was an utter mess and that's why she was so fidgety. She tried her best to fix everything that was possible while she was in that line. She wondered what Asad would think looking at her, or what he would say. Then she mentally smacked herself for even thinking of him – she was not supposed to care! But she did.
Finally immigration was cleared. She was waiting at the baggage carousel for her bags. Asad on the other hand, being so rich had his contact that would allow him a pass to go receive her right there. He knew she wouldn't admit it, but she'd need help with the bags. He saw her waiting. His heart skipped a beat. She hadn't seen him yet. And he hadn't seen what she was wearing; all he could notice was the side of her face. She looked sick and weak as if someone had sucked the life out of her. Well someone had. He didn't know she loved him so much, but he was glad that he wasn't at fault for hurting her. The guilt had vanished.
She bent to pick up her bag. She struggled against the speed of the carousel, when someone helped her get the first bag off. She said thank you and looked up to see who it was. She just kept staring; she hadn't expected him to come all the way inside. And while she was staring he noticed another bag coming forth, it had her name on it. He pulled it out and placed it on her trolley with the other bag.
"Zoya? Let's go?" that nudged her out of her astonishment. She didn't expect him here, and she didn't expect him to be so humble. She noticed him, he looked weak, tired, sick and perhaps he'd also lost some weight. She knew that his guilt had done that to him. She felt horrible though, because it was not his fault. She wondered though, had love got anything to do with this? Was it just guilt or was there love too? Just then she heard him. She followed him without a word, without any reactions, she was just so numb. No doubt, she was happy to see him… but that happiness only lasted until she realized all that has happened – may not be undone, but there was a need for damage control. And she didn't know how it would be.
x-x-x
Why is she so quiet? She hasn't said a word since we met fifteen minutes ago. I've put the bags in the car, but she's still standing there… by the trolley. What is she thinking about?
x-x-x
"Zoya, are you ok?" he asked with concern in his voice, and she just nodded. He wanted to go up to her, shake her, hug her and hear her blabber. He wanted his Ms. Musibat Farooqui back.
He saw she nodded, but did nothing after that. She didn't even move. She was still numb. She blanked out and had no idea what to do. He hugged her tight. She was further taken aback by surprise. "I'm sorry Zoya, I'm sorry… please forgive me" he didn't know why he said that, but he did. He hoped that that would make her feel better. She didn't hug him back initially, but later she reciprocated. "I love you Zoya, please don't ever leave me again. I can't live without you. I lived through a thousand deaths each day without you!" He hugged her tighter. But her grip on him was still loose. His confession of love had taken her off guard – she melted a bit within. The last 24 hours had definitely been a day of surprises. His claim of having lived through death stung her within. She knew what he meant, because she went through the same thing. But then why wasn't she able to reciprocate his feelings? Why couldn't she tell him that she loved him too? Why couldn't she act normal?
Asad saw that she wasn't reacting much. He died a bit within, but he was determined. He would keep trying, because he knew she loved him too. She wouldn't have been so affected otherwise. He broke the hug and led her to the car. He opened the door for her and closed it when she sat within. He handed her the pizza and the diet coke. She was touched by his actions.
They drove off to the hotel; they'd leave for Bhopal tomorrow morning. However Zoya didn't know this yet.
This time I'll make Zoya's confession the bang!
