Laila, much as i hate tanveer, I have to agree that she unfortunately doesn't look like she she's going away anytime soon. The cvs have clearly invested much in her character development, making her ever more evil and soulless over the episodes. And sheer economics make it preferable for phs to employ actors for longer stretches, rather than bit roles.

Also the cvs seem to have stoppered the development of any other characters and the many viable storylines but this asyatanu triangle. Rashid, Ayaan, nikhat are all on hold. And the tension between asya is long gone now, as there was no organic growth in their love, rather it has plateaued off with only incremental changes now which are not as dramatic without tanveer.

Also amrapali mentioned in an interview that she is sticking around. Sooo...😭

Thanks for thinking objectively. Believe me, there was a time I would sneak out of my office to grab a AsYa scene - I could not wait till got home. Now I not only do not care but I do not even read the written updates. I think I started noticing it drying up after the date scene...it dragged a bit, then the mini skirt nonsense left a sour taste in my mouth. I asked my friends and they all felt the same way. A few of the said the romance went sour before then.

The problem is that they were fun to watch when they argued - at least then they had interaction and it was funny - now they just stare, stare and stare. i actually cannot stand stares and accidental falls but I bared with it for this show but you cannot sustain a good romance on this alone.

The comic elements that made this couple so enjoyable to watch a saturated - or will be - with roona doona romance. Believe me, I know quite a bit of what was too happen nearly three months ago.

I really begged the writers to not go with the Ayaan Zoya track and to get them married, but you really think they listen to people like me?

And as for Tanu, I hate to see it but look at the ratings and the TRPs for individual episodes...AsYa scenes do not rate as high as you would think - even in the good old days.
