Why the show will not get rid of Tanveer

Shows need antagonists. Razia is NOT enough and neither is Haseena Bhi. That is why the show has Tanveer. Since her arrival, the shows ratings have actually increased and the show is not about to get rid of her character anytime soon. Zeetv shows thrive on drama. It is not possible to build a show on a romance - no show has been able to accomplish this on Zeetv. As much as you guys like Asad and Zoya, these two don't have the depth to make it on their own. All they do is stare at each other 🥱 and fall into each other's arms. That gets dull. So they have to have someone to stir the pot and Tanveer is the one who has done a good job of it.

Tanveer will stay as long as the show goes on - get used to it.

I disagree. Zoya and Asad's romance is much deeper than staring and falling into each other's arms. We've seen them evolve and grow with each other over the last 8 months. It's also one of the slowest confessions in Indian drama. And while Tanveer's drama was good to stir the pot, it's seriously becoming irritating. Razia has legitimate reasons. And her ploys all lead to the same end. Separating the two Khan families and never allowing Gaffur to meet Zoya.

I am sorry Laila I am going to disagree with you here. Had Tanveer gotten a back story and the audience an explanation of her motives I could have seen her as a true antagonist. But the character as it is written is a waste of screen space. All Tanveer has achieved are dumb down leads and her apparent ability to be omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent! Will Gul ever explain how Tanveer knew where Razia was or will that one amongst the many loopholes?

That said, despite the rape scene I won't stop watching because Gul has managed to intrigue me. How does she go from here and get to her original storyline> At the end of the day this a story and I want to see where it goes. But I guess it's too much to ask for all the characters (including Asad) to acknowledge this as rape.

the sad part is that the show has sooo much to offer. the characters still don't know rashid is being blackmailed my razia, that zoya's father is gaffur, that razia killed zoya's mother, the parts rashid and gaffur played in that...

Well I don't know about Zee but Gul sure LOVES her villains. Know this for a fact from her previous show.
