Hey Guys 😊

I'm a silent reader but I love QH. I barely post things but today I think everyone has something to say! I hated today's epi for obvious reasons, but after watching it, something popped into my mind.
I've read a lot of posts saying that Zoya know Tanveer and if anything does happen between Tanveer and Asad, Zoya will have enough brains to know that Asad isn't at fault; but honestly, the dynamics change when someone says or thinks something and when it actually happens in reality. Yes Zoya knows what Tanveer is like and how far she can go to get what she wants, but she trusts Asad with her life and that trust just got shattered into peices when she sees them together.
If I were in Zoya's position, I honestly don't know what I'd do if I saw Asad and Tanveer together. I think my first reaction would be hurt, anger and betrayal towards Asad because that's instict. That's the last thing Zoya expected to happen because she trusts Asad and has full faith that he'd never knowingly or unknowingly hurt her like that. Zoya loves Asad and deep down knows that he wouldn't do that to her in his right mind but all of that sense and logic goes out the window when you come face to face with your worst nightmare.
If I were Zoya, I don't think I'd be able to look at Asad the same way/the entire relationship would change. I would most likely forgive him because he was sexually assaulted but it's something that can never be forgotten. The words Tanveers used "you'll always get my used things" will stick with me for a very long time. It's not like your big brother or sister giving you their hand-me-downs! This is your almost souten telling you this crap!
Regardless of what happens in the upcoming track and how it plays out, if you put yourself in Zoya's position, would you be able to look at Asad the same way? Would you be able to overlook what happened between Tanveer and Asad?
Cheers
Shireen 😛

Fully agree.

Even if Asad will be proved innocent later, can the scar imprinted on Asad and Zoyas mind on happiest day of their life be removed?

Any illogical thing for drama!

If i were Zoya I'd probably think - you b+++++++!, you and the b**** deserve each other and storm out of their like a drama queen!
Thankfully, Zoya is a whole lot smarter.
I would like to believe she has the presence of mind to remember Tanveer's (can't bring myself to call her Tanu, which sounds too sickly cute) extent of evilness and her threat, as well as how much Asad has shown his love (with his intense eyes) & compassion first with her scar then with her burnt hands and her heartfelt confession of resolve on the balcony and above it all how much she loves and respects Dilshad to allow her to fulfill her vow.
I truly hope, Zoya gets Asad out of there and back to the wedding hall, completes the Nikah so Dilshad can stand proud and not to forget Zoya's sister, then turns to Asad and says we need to sort this out once and for all, let's go seek blessings in Ajmer then you can tell me what actually happened and whilst we're sorting that out it may be best to also deal with your trust in me and your inability to tell me simply how you feel about me.
I can only hope...

I also hope same way it should happen. But for dram quotient, logic is kept aside.

Just to add to my earlier post on this topic, i think it should make a big difference whether the guy slept with someone voluntarily or otherwise.

The way I see it, voluntarily would be either he consciously goes after another woman or he is seduced against his will but there lies the conundrum, seduction is 1 thing but you performed the act hence the point of not being willing does not come into play.
But where a guy is drugged to the point of not being conscious of his actions and actually put upon by a thing (woman is too kind a term for people like Tanveer), and where he is so incoherent he can be reasonably led to believe the person he is with is the woman he loves, shouldn't that absolve the guy of any guilt.
Someone in an earlier post said its the same as when a woman is raped, and I totally agree. Why is it when a man rejects a woman because she was forced against her will we cry foul but we are not willing to extend the same sympathy & empathy to a man?
If Zoya is half the woman I think she is, she will realise there is nothing to forgive. if anything she needs to be super supportive because for all that a woman feels violated after a rape, I believe its far harder for a man who (mistakenly) believes that he is the protector of women and therefore should not need protection from them.
