Lesson #1 - How To Confess?
oOo
Asad sat with the laptop on his lap and stared at the homepage on his screen. He didn't know how to go about this. He had used this particular website a million times for stuff regarding his work and Tamatar's projects, but he'd never ever thought that there would come a day that he, the great Asad Ahmed Khan, would Google stuff related to his married life. Well, that's what you turn into if you marry a woman like Zoya Farooqui.
Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan! His mind reprimanded him for the umpteenth time in this whole month. What the hell was going on with his mind? She wasn't Miss. Farooqui anymore! She was Zoya Asad Khan. She had his name attached to hers now. And that feeling was one of the many feelings which had surfaced his life ever since he had gotten married to the most amazingly lazy person on earth!
Right now too, she was lazing around with Tamatar in her bedroom. Probably watching some senseless Bollywood flick! He remembered how Zoya would blatantly gawk at the hero's body. She gawks at me too! He frowned, suddenly feeling insecure. Then he hit himself mentally. 'Am I really getting upset by some fictional character my wife watches?' He rubbed his palms together and effortlessly typed the following on the Search Tab.
"How to confess your love to your wife?" He typed vigorously and looked at the door of his bedroom, glad that no one was walking in on him.
Then his eyes fell on the various results that showed, one after the other. But weirdly, none of them said 'wife'. They were all for girlfriends and girls or lovers. Asad frowned and thought, 'Aren't wives women too?' He shrugged. Then again, who confesses their love to their wife post-marriage? And this time he was interrupted by his roommate. His wife. His pathetically manner less wife.
Asad fumbled with the laptop and clamped it shut with a loud noise, grabbing Zoya's undivided attention.
"Allah Miyaan, what's wrong with you Mr. Khan? You're gonna break that poor thing, aren't you?" Zoya raised her brows.
"Ermm, I..woh..actually-" He stammered.
"36,182." Zoya sighed, turning towards the cupboard and removing a pair of clothes for herself while Asad looked at her with a confused look.
"What?" He asked.
"That's the number of times you've said who actually after we got married. And before we got married you've said it around 678120967 times." Zoya faked a number.
"You don't even know how to pronounce the figure, Miss. Farooqui." He corrected her. He DID NOT have a phobia of saying woh actually! What rubbish!
"As you say, Mr. Farooqui!" Zoya winked at him and walked out.
Just before leaving she said, "Mr. Farooqui, if you were watching something you don't want anyone else to see, I'm glad to tell you that this will be our secret and you owe me one." She giggled and ran out of their room.
Asad buried his face in his palms! He knew this was going to happen! But what did she mean by watching something? I was reading something! That's not as bad as watching right? I mean-. Urgghhh! Asad groaned and opened his laptop once again. The webpage was right there and he began to read.
6 Steps To Confess Your Love To A Girl-
1) Be sure that the one you want to confess to is truly the right person for you, not just some random person that has good looks you saw on the street!
'Of course I'm sure! I mean we're married now, right? That officially means we're in love and she's the one for me! How can you fall in love and confess to a random stranger off the road? People really are crazy! And Miss. Farooqui calls me emotionally challenged! Huh.'
2) Find a good place to confess. A quiet place with just the two of you, if possible, would be a great example.
'A good place to confess? What can be better than our own bedroom? Like, why should I spend extra money and energy for a simple confession? Focus, Asad! This is how it's done usually. People are crazy but whenever they do this it works. You have to work on getting things right.'
3) Ask him/her if you two can meet at the area you want to tell your feelings.
'Miss. Farooqui would take me to New York then! As if the whole honeymoon drama wasn't enough. How can I let her decide where 'I' want to confess my love for her? That's simply ridiculous. Who the hell wrote this?! Jerk.'
4) Be prepared for everything! Once you two meet, there is no turning back!
'I meet her at home every day after work. I wake up to her beautiful face and sleep to her gorgeous self. How the hell will I turn back even if I'm dying? Because my wife here, will bring me back from the dead just to make me confess what I was about to say. And dude, whoever you are, you are certainly NOT helping!'
5) Find a reasonable day to tell him/her. A romantic day would be Valentine's Day, or if you want it to be rainy or snowing, fall and winter would be great!
'Valentine's Day? Another 8 months to go. Cancel. Snowing in Bhopal? Riiight. Cancel. Winter seems far too! Cancel. Monsoon it is. But how can I confess in the rain? The plitter-platter won't let her hear my words and the weather is highly irritating. It is definitely not romantic to even step out in the rain. This is useless.'
6) Be confident on whatever you say. Tell her pretty things about herself, woo her insides and she's yours buddy!
'I'm always confident! I never ever stammer when I'm talking. Yeah, right. You fool! All you do is stammer! You better man up and go say some really good things to her. Otherwise you're going to be the biggest donkey in the whole wide world!'
After Asad was done with his 're-search', he ran to Tamatar's room and saw Zoya all ready to go out with his baby sister.
"Miss. Farooqui, we need to talk." He cleared his throat.
"Mr. Farooqui, we're headed out for a lunch party with your sister's friends. No time now." Zoya rolled her eyes at his proposal.
Asad got irritated, his adrenaline was pumping high and he wanted to do this just when he was in the mood for it! He grabbed her arm and pulled her out to the garden.
Zoya stared at him flabbergasted. This man was absolutely psychotic!
"What the hell, Mr. Khan?" She questioned him.
"Just hear me out and then you're free to go." He said with a determined voice, making Zoya agree.
"What is it?"
"I-umm, woh main..woh, actually main.."
"Allah Miyaan, I don't have all day you know?" She placed her hands on her hips.
"I know. It's just that I..I.." Before he could say anything further, it started pouring cats and dogs.
Zoya looked up and groaned, she'd have to change again now! Great! She gave him one last dirty look and turned to go in, when he caught her arm and pulled her in to his chest, her back touching his torso.
Zoya gasped, what the hell was happening? They were drenched in the rain and her husband was trying to get close to her? WOW.
"Zoyaa.." He whispered above her ear and let his lips brush along its length.
Zoya shut her eyes in pleasure and waited for his next action. It was plain simple anticipation.
"I love you." Asad whispered over her ear and almost instantly turned her around roughly, holding her waist.
"Mr. Khan..I.." She fumbled, when she felt his grip round her tighten.
"You what, Mrs. Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan?" He smirked, seeing her reaction to his words.
"I love you too." Zoya whispered near his lips. The water running down their bodies as one. At that moment nothing else mattered. It was just them and their unconditional love. Though late, but now they had confessed. Life would be even more beautiful now.
Zoya blushed hard and buried herself in his arms, taking in his masculine scent and the embrace of his protective arms. Asad smiled and thanked the author of the post he'd taken inspiration from. And also God. For brining Zoya and the rain at the right moment, precisely.
Google is awesome.
