Oh,I agree that she isn't being smart.. But the point isn't that.. Your TOPIC isn't about her being dumb.. its about proving that Asad is not hypocritical... Which, you basically can't really prove by putting her down or by saying she is dumb.. Her being stupid (AT TIMES) doesn't make Asad smart.. He is even dumber and quite hypocritical to say the least... Zoya does act stupid at times like you mentioned, but she is definitely a more intelligent character than Asad ever was... You proving Zoya is dumb doesn't prove that Asad is not hypocritical.

well asad is a principle man.. a person who dont lie..a person who protect the one he loves..even zoya...he shows it when she is in trouble or sad...he always shows his love and prove it...asad is just being blindly in love with his frnd which we all generally do in our life out of emotions...but than he doesnt do anything illogical like zoya...

even when asad loves his brother too much he told him to no matter what happens he shd confess...

u r calling all "dumb and hip." because of tannu thing which u hate...

but i m judging the characters from starting to end...from every point...

even zoya does mistakes...too many..she turns out to be miss museebat all the tym but u dont get irritated with her like u critisize asad for "tannu meri best frnd"

@ Pink Really??? Then why did he slap Zoya?? Why does he even go close to a women?? I am a Muslim myself and am aware of the "principles" you speak of. And men are not allowed to touch women unless they are married. What happened to his principle here huh?? That is called HYPOCRITICAL. Preaching something and doing something else

If your judging the character from start to end, please note that Asad has never done one sensible thing or atleast out of self will. Zoya, on the other hand, found who shot Dilshaad, Figured Tannu's truth, and so much more. Which case has Asad solved?Care to explain? Just dropping a few tears, saying "woh actually", and saying sorry after blaming someone miscellaneously, doesn't cut it. He blamed Zoya so many times that I have lost count. And Zoya has ALWAYS proven him WRONG. Get that straight. I don't feel bad for any character as I'm not that attached to television. But you have to differentiate between and ACTOR and CHARACTER which you really don't. and Asad being "blindly in love" with a friend he hasn't met in 10 years is not "intelligent" on his part. Zoya is more aware of her feelings than Asad is. Indian Television characters are not smart. But yes, if you compare Zoya and Asad's smartness, which you did in your entire topic, Zoya is by far more intelligent than Asad

OK and now zoya fans would say its all about "cvs are doing it and making it dumb" then same cvs have made asad to commit mistakes and not believe ur "pyaari zoya" THEN why do you make fun of asad's dumbness and not of zoya ?

Why are you linking Dumbness and Hypocrisy? Both are different notions.

Dumbness: I do think both Zoya and Asad are dumb. But if we were to compare , Asad would win hands down in the stupidity test. Whereas Zoya uses her brain sometimes, Asad gave his brain a permanent holiday.

Hypocrisy: Asad is a hypocrite.Not because he is not able to see through Tanveers act but because of his closeness to her. Hugging a non mehram woman (alowing her to hug him) not once but several times then preaching Tameez and Tehzeeb is hypocrisy.

Ps:Please refrain from calling people 'dumb' just because they stated their opinions (about a fictional , non existent character)that happen to differ from yours.
