I don't think there was anything wrong with today's episode or anyone's attitude. Everyone - Asad, Zoe, BCA. Ayaan, Nikhat and Razia - they all were in their skin. And here's why i , for one, totally loved the episode.
1. Asad was calm, composed and explanatory to Zoe even though he was not at her side at all. He was a victim of his BFF's wicked twist of revealing the glass eye - and along with that he acted just as one would expect him too as of now. But yes, a mistake on the writing part. Apart from Asad assuming that glass-eyed Tannu was just mistaken as the attacker during the Sangeet , it should have been included that she was also mistaken as the chicken-killer during Jashn-E-Saugat. I liked the exchange between Asad and Zoe over Tanveer sans the howling, shouting and accusations. They have a difference of opinion and they are keeping it civil. I liked Asad's lowered tone to Zoe even though he does not agree with her at all. Infact, it was a cute banter and Asad was trying to keep the fine line between his soulmate and his BFF.
2. I loved the face-off between Zoe and Tanveer. While it highlighted the zameen-aasmaan difference between the gorgon and the angel, the best part was that like always, Tannu served as the inverted Cupid. BCA told Zoe in the face that Zoe maybe in immaturity and denial but Zoe is truly in love with Asad. BCA's perverted mind and her wicked plans evoked the territorial tigress in Zoe and with Asad being her territory, it simply means - Back off!...It was more on the lines of making Zoe realize that Zoe loves Asad to an extent where whatever or whoever stands in the way is simply demolished. You have never seen a more aggressive Zoe or a more psychotic Tanveer before this. Surbhi and Amrapali were absolute brilliance,
3. Three instances stand out for me - 1. Zoe clearly telling Tanveer that Asad belongs to Zoe and even if she has to fight tooth-and-nail for this - this truth is written in stone and stars. 2. Tanveer realizing and admitting the intensity and depth of love between Jam and Bread - that is why she tells Zoe that Asad is no longer Jammy and that is why she tells Zoe so confidently that Zoe may not know it , but she does - Zoe loves Asad. 3. The slight fear and anxiety in Tanveer's eyes in the last shot when Zoe re-emphasizes that Asad is her private property and trespassers will be shot dead - if they don't die, then, they will be shot again. If not for this makhhan waali, Zoe would never show this kind of passion and intensity for Asad. The fear of losing Asad in Zoe, is something that BCA has instilled for keeps.
I maybe the odd one out - but i think the episode was absolute dramatic brilliance. 👍🏼
P.S- I love Razia and Ayaan scenes . Ek alag tension aur flavour hotaa hai wahaan.
