That being said, Just because you wear a miniskirt doesn't make you a bad muslim but it doesnt neccesarily make you a good one. Then again, There's no such thing as a perfect Muslim. Everyone makes mistakes and tries to fit in with time and location.
Islam requires you to dress modestly so that's why a miniskirt is becoming a controversy.
Being shown as a Muslim "modern girl" doesn't mean you have to wear a tank top.
A modern Muslim girl might have liberal thoughts but that doesn't mean you show up wearing booty shorts. 😕
Zoya is a Muslim girl. It don't matter if she lives in America or Fiji. Wearing a miniskirt=HARAM.
It doesn't matter if she's "modern" or liberal. One can be liberal WITHOUT wearing a miniskirt.
However, zoya is not a bad person but someone who was doing something Haram.
Despite the fact she was just showing Najma, she said she wears miniskirts in America. 😲

I agree abut the good person/ good Muslim thing you're saying. I find Zoya to be a great person, someone I would love to be friends with because she is so full of life. I've said this a few times now but being modern and liberal is not based off of how revealing your clothes are.

I don't think the skirt scene was callede for, nor would I ever say Zoya was a bad person for wearing a skirt.
