Hi guys, lol really sorry for the very late update. I'm a very lazy person😆 guess what? I've finally thought of a name for this FF😆 anyways hope you all had a good eid😊 here's a long update to make up for the very late update! Enjoy.
Chapter 4
Zoya felt her heart beat rapidly, 1 year? Her head suddenly felt light and she realised she was fidgeting with her cutlery.."Err 1 year you said?" Asad gave her a small smile, "yes, or it could stretch on for longer" Zoya felt dumbfounded, what was she expecting from him anyway? "How long?" She choked out, surprising Asad who looked uncomfortable "probably 2 years.." Zoya looked down trying to blink back the tears, just when she thought she was getting somewhere with someone. She sighed and looked up giving him a small smile, "That's good then I guess, are you excited for this project?" She spoke calmly, Asad scrutinised her.. "Erm you could say that, but I'm gonna miss this place and the people" he said looking Zoya in the eye, Zoya smiled at him "I'm sure they'll miss you too" Asad didn't miss the hint of Sadness in her voice and felt a guilty pang.
The deserts arrived and both were silent the whole way through, Zoya tried her best to avoid looking at Asad as she was often told her eyes gave her away. Asad too looked uncomfortable, he probably thought that she was getting overly emotional. Zoya finished her desert and sipped her drink looking around anywhere but at Asad. Ofcourse Zoya being her clumsly self managed to spill her drink on her dress and screamed "oh god" and tried to reach out for the tissues near Asad, Asad got up and grabbed the tissues kneeling down near Zoya he started dabbing at the stain which was on her stomach.
Asad looked up at Zoya, who seemed baffled he smirked and rested one hand on her thigh. He winked at her "See, all gone" a blush adorned Zoya's face making Asad chuckle, he paid for the bill and they made their way out to the car. Once seated both sat, Asad looked over to Zoya who seemed lost into her thoughts he leaned forward and moved a strand of her hair away from her eyes Zoya turned her face towards him, Asad stroked her face and leaned closer smacking his lips on hers Zoya seemed shocked but she soon responded and kissed him back, both were so lost in the moment which lasted what seemed hours. They broke apart both breathing heavily, Asad looked at her and started the car. "I've wanted to do that for a whole week now" he said huskily.
Zoya looked at him, as nice the kiss was she didn't want to take anything further. They finally arrived at her apartment, "So can I come in?" Zoya panicked Aleesha would probably be home. "Erm actually I think I have a migraine coming, some other time ok" she said hurriedly she took her seatbelt of and was about to step out, she leaned towards Asad and pecked him on the cheek. "Bye Asad" he beamed and blew a kiss "Bye Zoya" she laughed and closed the door watching him drive away, that was the last time they would be seeing each other she had decided, she would rather not get too attached. She entered the apartment and heard noises from Aleesha's bedroom. She laughed to herself and shouted "Give it a rest you two" making way to her room. Finally she had got in bed and thought about the events of the past week, her phone beeped it was a message from Asad. She sighed and deleted it.
That's how it was the next 2 weeks, she constantly deleted his message and ignored his calls trying to move on with life, she had messaged him back once telling him to stop bothering her as she wasn't interested and he can look for his next flavour of the month. She sat down after a long day of shopping, when her phone rang it was a unknown number, "Hello?" "Hi Miss Zoya Farooqui this is Ayaan Ahmed Khan from Dilshaad Constructions speaking I rang to inform you that you have got the job of the secretary." Zoya felt like her heart exploded with happiness "oh god I'm speechless thank you for considering me" "Your welcome, your start date would be after two weeks and we will email you your schedule in the coming week" "that's fine, thank you so much" "bye, have a nice evening" "You too" and she hung up. "EEEHHH Leesh!!" She squealed "What?" Aleesha said rushing towards her, "I got the job! Oh my god I got it!" Both girls started jumping up and down.
A week later Zoya was just checking her emails when she heard the door knock "Who could it be? Aleesha is out for the night" she switched off her laptop and went to open the door, she widened her eyes when she saw who it was, "Uhh Asad? What are you doing here?" She felt her stomach tightening and suddenly felt conscious as she was in her night clothes. "Hi Zoya, can I come in?" She whipped her specs of "yeah sure" and lead him in. He looked around and smiled "Nice apartment" "Thanks" Zoya muttered and sat down on the sofa opposite him "So what's up Asad, what brought you here?" He looked at her "I'm leaving tomorrow, I just came to say bye to you" "how thoughtful of you" she said sarcastically, Asad raised his eyebrow "Erm would you like a drink?" "Yeah just a coke please" she sighed and walked over to the kitchen getting out glasses, she was about to get coke from the fridge when she suddenly felt him sneak up behind her and put his arms around her waist, Zoya clenched her fists "Asad.." "Zoya I've missed you" he moved her hair to the side and placed a kiss at the back of her neck trailing down to her back, Zoya closed her eyes at his touch he turned her around and touched her lip looking at it then back at Zoya who still had her eyes closed. He crushed his lips against hers kissing her roughly and passionately she responded with equal passion they broke apart "Which room is yours?" She pointed towards her room and he dragged her with him. Again both lost themselves in a night full of passion.
Later that night Asad woke up and saw Zoya staring up at him, he looked at the time. It was 3 am. Zoya noticed him getting panicked "What time are you leaving?" Asad felt his stomach tighten "9" Zoya got up and dressed herself "You better get going then" "Zoya.." "Asad this will be the last we see of each other, don't try contact me again" Asad felt shocked "Why?" "Because I don't want to fall anymore Asad, especially when your going away. I can't deal with people coming in and out of my life so please try to understand" Asad gulped, he felt guilty he had never felt like that before. He got dressed and made his way out the room with Zoya following, she opened the door and he turned back looking at Zoya. He leaned forwards and kissed her cheek "Bye Zoya.." Zoya shut the door. He didn't know what to feel, and walked away.
Ok that was bad I know, I wrote this a while back and didn't bother going through it, I'm quite a dramatic person 😆 so expect twists :P please do leave your likes and comments 😃
