Regarding zoya working i don't think that there was really time for that...i mean she just came to find her abbu so she didn't think about working and so much has been happening so i don't think there was an appropriate time for her to consider working...i mean first she was busy finding her abbu,then dishad got shot,she rashid and the misunderstanding happened,then she got to know her father was dead,then the visa issue and finally the nikaah...when did she have time to work?

Long back? It's been hardly 15 days since she found out her father is dead. In serial 1 day is telecasted for 5 days. The day she found out she decided to go back to NY, she didn't come here to settle down.
The next day of her deciding to go back, Asad tried to stop her by giving work permit, next day DB and Dolly came, Asad lied that they are getting engaged, next day Razia slap fiasco happened, same day Asad stopped her at airport, same night in walima, Dilshad announced their nikha in 10 days and the 10 days are not yet over. I don't think any girl however modern she is will join a job when her wedding is just 10 days away and daily one or the other ceremony is going on.

I just wanted to say that yes she is independent n she must be working remember she came to india to find her abbu so she could not work at time n now according to the serial its just been a week ago when she discovered her fathers death n when she was returning to NY asad stooped her n now the whole wedding fiasco now in the middle of this she not going to find a job to prove that she is independent n when the skirt is concerned its better we comment after the epi goes on air to find out the whole scenario we all know half knowledge is quite dangerous...n btw its a big change firstly tv heroines just wore suits on screen zoya brought the change with jeans n now the skirt...

First thing she didn't come to India to work or have a job, her purpose of coming to India was searching her father. Why would she work when she came here to look for her father?? What was the need for her to work at Dilshad constructions? She didn't come to settle down in India neither was she poor that she needed money to support her search for abbu. If you go to a country to visit and stay there for a month, will you go for work there? Untill and unless you decide to stay in that country for a long period and you have come in search of a job in that country, you won't work there because it's not your purpose of visit to that country.
