Chapter 1
"Appi! I'll be alright! You don't have to worry about me! I'm not a baby anymore and anyway its just a business meeting! I'll be back in a week!" Zoya said and rolled her eyes.
"I know Zoya, but I'm scared for you, you never take care of yourself! Promise you'll eat on time and sleep on time, and don't eat excess of caramel popcorn, it makes your stomach ache! And have you kept those Victoria Secret linge..." Zoya cut her off mid-sentence.
"Appi! I'm going for a business meeting! Not for finding the love of my life or for some serious hot love making!" Zoya said.
"Ok, ok! Fine! I'm sorry! Just take care of yourself, ok? And call me everyday. Allah Hafiz." Zeenat said and hung the phone.
Zoya kept her cellphone back into her handbag and sighed, sometimes her Appi could be really difficult.
"All passengers boarding flight no. 2201 for Mumbai are requested to proceed to terminal 10. Thank you."
Zoya took her handbag and went towards the terminal after she was seated she took out her overused and battered copy of Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella and started reading it. It was now 9 in the morning and flight was about to take off when suddenly there was an announcement.
"We are very sorry to inform but we will have to wait for another half an hour at the airport as one of our important passengers is yet to come."
Everyone groaned after hearing that. Zoya shook her head, she hated people who were not punctual, and today was no exception. She had an important meeting to attend and here was this someone who thought he owned the world.
After half an hour, a disheveled looking man entered the plane and smiled apologetically towards everyone and sat beside Zoya. She turned and looked at him, even in this disheveled state he had the looks to die for.
He ran a hand through his hair and gulped down some water and then looked at her and smiled, she quickly averted her gaze.

The plane took off finally and Asad relaxed a little into his seat he was worried we wasn't going to make it on time and would loose both the flight and his biggest ever project. But he did make it to the airport.
He turned and looked at his co-passenger she was beautiful would be an understatement, her hair was loosely tied at the nape of her neck and from there he could see a small tattoo peeking out from the collar of her shirt.
She turned and gave him a look and he quickly looked away, turning red. He took the magazine infront of him and started reading. It had one of his interviews in which he was talking about making his company global.
He smiled at himself. Finally his dream was going to become true, his company Dilshaad Constructions would be an international company he was more than happy, he was delighted.
And then suddenly he felt a jerk and heard a beep sound, he looked up and saw that the sign to put on your seat belt was glowing. He quickly tied his seat belt.
"We are sorry to inform that there is some air turbulence, we request you all to tie your seat belts and remain where you are, please don't move from your seat."
"Allah Miyan! What's wrong with the weather? Air turbulence?!" The girl beside her spoke, she already had beads of sweat on her forehead.
"Are you alright, miss?" Asad asked the girl.
"Alright? Who can be alright night now?! Don't you realize we are gonna die! We all are gonna bloody DIE!" She said the last word loudly and the passengers started looking in their direction murmuring softly.
"Miss we are not going to die! Its just an air turbulence due to some bad weather, everything will be alright soon, please calm down." Asad said gently, trying to calm her.
"Calm down? Calm down?! How can I calm down when I know I'm going to die? I'm just 27 for gods sake! And I haven't even tried that Victoria Secret lingerie my sister brought me!" She said and Asad turned red.
He saw a stewardess coming towards them, she said, "Please sir, tell your wife to not to shout people are getting disturbed." And then she walked away.
"Wife?! I'm not his wife! C'mon you cannot make anyone, someone's wife!" The girl beside him nearly shouted, Asad smiled apologetically again at the passengers.
"Please miss calm down! Other people are getting disturbed." He said.
"How can I do that? Goodness! I have to attend Humeira's wedding too! But the lehenga she has asked me to wear is hideous! But how can I tell her that? She's my best friend after all!" She said and looked at him with wide eyes.
"That's really sad, ma'am." Asad said and tried to smile.
"I know! And you know what is even more sad? I saw my Appi and Jiju making out! Goodness gracious! That was like ughh! Totally gross!" She said and stuck her tongue out, Asad could not help but laugh.
"And you know what? My ex-boyfriend Ahmed used to spray this real bad deodorant and I really could not help it you know! He was my boyfriend after all!" She said and gave an exasperated look.
"Yeah, he was your boyfriend after all." Asad said and nodded his head.
"And this time I saw my Appi wearing this hideous salwaar kameez! But I could not tell her that it was hideous! How could I? I mean she's my Appi! But still it was a total fashion disaster!" She said and shook her head.
"A fashion disaster! That's really bad!" Asad said and feigned astonishment.
"You know what's even bad? I came to know that my friend Sruthi is having an affair with my boss! And he's like 20 years or something her senior! How disgusting." She said and scrunched up her nose. Asad chuckled at her cute expression.
"Exactly my point! That is indeed very disgusting." Asad said and continued chuckling.
"Ladies and gentlemen the air turbulence is over now and we have reached Mumbai. I hope you had a pleasant flight."

Zoya could not believe she had spoken so much about herself to this total stranger on a plane and did not even feel scared not a bit. Maybe because of the panic she was feeling due to the air turbulence or whatever reason it might be, she still could not believe herself.
She quickly got up before the man could get up and nearly ran out of the plane, she quickly grabbed a trolley and took her luggage from the conveyor belt and almost ran towards the exit.
She looked back and to her immense relief the stranger whom she had almost told everything about her was nowhere in sight. She pushed her trolley towards the exit and saw a man holding a placard with her name written on it.
"Good afternoon Miss Farooqi, I'm Raju your driver for the week, I'll first drop you to your hotel and then I'll pick you up at 5 for your meeting." He said and took her luggae and loaded it in the trunk.
He opened the door for her and she sat in, the first thing she did was switch on her cell phone it had a few missed calls from her Appi and a few texts from Humeira. She kept her cellphone back in her bag and then searched for her diary. There was no silver and purple colored journal in her handbag, she started panicking.
She had left her journal in the plane. With that stranger.
~*OoO*~
Before Asad could even ask her name she nearly ran out of her seat and something fell from her handbag, he picked it up and was going to call her when he saw that she had disappeared out of sight.
He looked at the silver and purple colored notebook and realized that it was a journal, it read- "Property of Zoya Farooqi." He quickly stuffed it into his bag and headed out hoping to catch Zoya and return her journal back to her.
He pulled out a trolley from the stand and pushed it towards the conveyor belt and loaded his luggage he looked around for Zoya but she was nowhere in sight. Then he though of something. He quickly went to the emergency room and asked the staff to make an announcement for Zoya Farooqi.
He waited for half an hour but she did not come, he thanked the management and went towards the exit where his car was already waiting for him, after loading his luggage in the trunk he sat in.
He looked at the journal once again and smiled at himself. He would love to meet Zoya again.
