A professional Kiss or No?

Hey everyone!

In Indian TV and Movies, what is your opinion on onscreen couples kissing? Do you think it is professional and it's fine or do you think no?

Would you want an AsYa kiss? Or No?

All opinions are fine 😊

In my opinion, I think that there shouldn't be a kiss. The reason being that I find QH to be a family show, and it is a modest show. So by having a kiss, it will be like every other english/american show we watch. If someone says 'Indian TV is advancing and becoming more modern by having kiss scenes' I don't agree, it seems like it would lose the family drama nature of it. - That's my opinion. 😊

Indian movies have a lot of them. Indian tv is restricted.
I personally don't mind seeing kissing because its like very common here (where I live) 😆

I kinda like the fact that Indian shows don't go to the extent that American ones do in terms of PDA and kissing and all that **stuff** but I think it has to do with the story and in this AsYa story...I feel a kiss would be perfect...not a dirty one..just a simple one...but it would be so beautiful. I wouldnt want them to take it further than that though. I mean I would, for selfish reasons 😉, but for the story and the characters, thats as far as it should go.

I do hope Indian television is able to sustain this innocence that they've built and not have to be pressured into doing vulgar scenes to get ratings. I think its what makes Indian television so amazing. Take it away and its like every other show.

priya I agree with you so much. I really want this innocence to stay on indian television. I see bollywood changing and it just seems so forced and so ugh. It's like...I might as well just watch my regular hollywood movies or american shows.

I used to think That there is no need to a kiss scenes,
And i dont Like to watch kiss scenes , i feel embbarased as i am the one who does it
And what i really love about indian That they are NUMBER one of romance without dragging kisses and other stuffs Like american ones
Unfortunately bowllyood now lost the magic That i used to see it in indian movies and after a while bowllyood Will turn Like howllyood
And i used to respect actors who make decisions of no lips kiss
But but but But this is the first Time i changed my mind about this subject and because of asya
I would love to see it not everytime maybe just once or twice , and to be simple Especially after they confess and it would make the scene PERFECT

Not a kiss on the lips but on the cheek and neck and such. You see people kissing on Bollywood films these days and I don't like it. That used to be taboo but it's a regular thing now. I don't want it to be too 'Angrezi' you know? I want it to stay clean.

I agree with you! 😳 It's the reason I fell in love with certain shows, like Punar Vivah (though not anymore 😔) and Pavitra Rishta. Arjun Purvi and Aarti Yash were beautiful couples who had the simplest physical interactions, no kissing and no explicit scenes (well except when Arjun kissed Purvi's forehead lol and ArYa made love ). But they were shown in a tasteful and sweet manner. I grew up in South America and live in Canada now and as much as passion filled kissing and the like have their appeal, I think it's also important to note the differences in the way the story is being told.

I love Indian shows (some, many of them are the same saas bahu crap, sorry don't meant to bash, just my opinion) but some gems are truly beautiful, innocent and heart gripping love stories about their feelings, and how they slowly and gradually understand each other. That's what I love about them. Qubool Hai attracted me the most because I have not seen a show yet (I never watched IPKKND, no chappals please 😆) that truly emphasized on the concept of opposites attract, while also delving into the idea of two hurt souls completing each other.

As for Asya kissing, I wouldn't mind a small peck either, or short sweet kiss. Just for the confession, or even the suhagraat. But of course we know that won't happen. And, actually, the anticipation is the best part. Sabhaar ke pal meethe hote hain 😆 So tell me... didn't that scene from yesterday leave you wanting more? That's another part of the jadoo of these shows (when done properly of course).

So as much as a short and sweet liplock would satisfy me to no end, more than a passion frenzied make out session 🤣, I'm actually happy with their stolen glances, eyelocks, Mitwa moments, and how they slowly gradually are building a relationship with each other
