And about the almost kiss...so we are on the same page then!

Two things:
#Glad the showed a good conversation between mommy and son about Zoya right before the fall..definitely made mitwa moment more meaningful!
#Thank God they didn't show Tanu burn marks scene today..it would have totally destroyed the mitwa moment!!! Remember Jashan-e-sughat mitwa moment? It was so romantic but then Asad confronted Zoya in the very next scene and it took away the beauty of mitwa moment..!!! people would have forgotten the mitwa moment and would have been so upset with Asad if they had shown Tanu burn marks scene today!

I just wanted to say that both Zoya and Asad have matured in their relationship a bit.
Asad's expectations of his wife:
Asad did say that she is now a member of this family and with all due respect as his (would be) wife he expects her to be mature and responsible in her actions. He did not say that he did not believe her but that she should approach with more grace and tact. She is childish (not a fault I agree) and can be the cause of his embarrassment many a times. I think all men will agree that they do not want childish attitudes from their wives at least in public. He needs her to be at a level where his mother is where her decorum and grace is concerned. He did say what his image of a wife is to his mother in the one of the first few episodes.It is not fair to grudge him that expectation as it is not something impossible that he is asking for.
I did always maintain that Dilshad would have a hand in polishing this diamond .
Zoya fortunately has a mother (in-law) who would groom her for her future with Asad.
Even his gifts to Zoya reflect that class and grace he sees hidden in her. He is after all a successful businessman and she would be gracing his arm at public events in the future.
He loves zoya and would like her to be mentally at a level where they could take about the days events with his wife. It does not mean he wants her to change herself (evident in the way he has watched her dance with pleasure in his eyes very apparent) but he would also like her to grow up (as mentioned by him to Zeenat). If you look at it from Asad 's point of view she does look like a 'brat' to him (and she is indulged by all - from Zeenat, Jiju, Dilshad, Najma and even Rashid to a certain extent). So unfortunately it does fall on him to make her tow the line for her safety (result of her impulsiveness) and her naivety (innocence that she has an answer to every problem).

Zoya's progress spoke volumes as well. I do not think she needs to tell Mr. Khan verbally how much he means to her. Love is putting the person you love before yourself and that is what she did. She swallowed her pride and frustration (evident in the angry tears a child would shed at being asked to apologize) and did it as she said Mr. Khan wanted her to do it. That his word was honored was a sense of pride for him and you can see that in the way he looks at her while she is passing him by. Tanveer has done it again - she is made Asad love Zoya more for just doing what he asked her to do even if it was grudgingly. The fact that he did not look at her later only goes to show how much Zoya affects him. One look at her tears and puppy face and he would be in the same trap as Dilshad and the rest - a member of Zoya's fan club. Asad is her grounding force and she does resent his tough love but knows deep down that he is putty in her hands once his defenses are down (the plates collected while he was talking to her!).

In conclusion, I would like to say that after looking at the scene many times I came back with the sense that there was a fair amount of progress by both Asad and Zoya.

But I have been married to an Asad Ahmed Khan for 10 years and have been kindof a Miss. Farookhi in my early relationship and hence I guess I have a certain understanding of his personality and type. Believe me Asad- Zoya has a long way to grow and go for the kind of peace and calm that their marriage needs. But for Asad a woman who is not challenging him mentally would not do, hence though Tanveer is trying to be his ideal of a life partner, his mental and emotional self wants Zoya.

My Mr. Khan had a perfect Tanveer (not as evil though) in his life when he met me but somehow his heart went elsewhere and just like Mr. Khan he was very mad with himself about it.I too had to mature and grow up with him and he too had to learn to losen up a bit with me. It was quite a ride for the past 10 years and still is sometimes. But do we ever regret it ? Absolutely not.

Trust me - The PH house has enough so called 'masala' even after they marry to keep the fireworks going. They do not need to separate the 2 for the TRP's to go up.

I remember that I loved the pranks Khushi would pull on Arnav after they were married and still watch them sometimes to get a good laugh. It is so much fun to tease these serious type of guys and watch them react (speaking from experience 😉)

Thank you so much for sharing your story!!! Wow! Your story had made me love Asad and Zoya more as a couple!!! When Tanveer first came in the show, I wrote a topic about her..I am gonna paste a little bit of that here:
"P.S. I want Tanveer to be the positive character. And if they have to make her a negative character, I want Asad to choose Zoya before finding out that Tanveer is a wrong person. But it would be GREAT to watch Tanveer as a positive character and stay positive and Asad picking Zoya even when his supposed Miss perfect wife material is around him"
I wrote this post in march!!! And now look, Asad is in love with Miss Zoya Farooqui and not even attracted to Tanveer in any way!

I loved AsYa! So glad that finally we have a different kinda love story on TV!

Actually my Mr.Khan was rather surprised when I found his Miss. Tanveer a match. There was animosity for me of course as they were family friends and she felt let down by him. But today she is happy and that makes us happy. I feel that is what Zoya will do when she finds out about Tanveer's preg. After all look at it from Tanu's point-of-view. I know what she does is hateful but if u do not have anyone to look out for u you end up doing whatever it takes to get what u want.
Unfortunately, she is using the only people who care about her and would help her. They did say that her character had shades of grey and I think in the future track she will have a better relationship with Zoya than with Asad. Infact my Mr.Khan is very slow to forgive a betrayal and trust again. I think Asad is the same as he is so judgmental and upright
