I love Aapi. Loved the way how she made Asad understand Zoya's situation. She was resolute. And I would love to see more scenes between Aapi and Asad. Tanveer overhearing Asad and Aapi's conversation about Zoya's fear of fire did indicate what she is probably going to do to get rid of Zoya. So we can perhaps look forward to Mangalpur par 2.

I loved the precap. Zoya is too cute. She came all dressed up in a sexy backless blouse for a breakup.😆

The title is truly apt. Tanveer has dhool jhonkoed (!) on everyones eyes in the serial! While in todays episode, she pulled the dust literally over Zoya's eyes, as you put it, it is Asad who is being the most deceived!

We got an insight into what might have been today! - The great Tannu-Jammy love story!! Since I havent quite forgiven him yet despite him crying over Zoya's hand, I so wish Tannu would have stayed in Bhopal and we could have seen a Tannu-Jammy nikaah! On a serious note, that scene was a dead giveaway: While he likes Tannu very much and she is his best friend, Zoya has made a place in his heart that no one will be able to fill! He knows it and accepts it too. Thats why his expression when Tannu tried to propose and that quick taking his hands back! But Sangeeta, how old is this man? Doesnt he get Tannu's intentions?? His Tehzeeb-e-aafta friend is openly line maaroing and he still doesnt get it but gets taken in by her lame sentence- that it was a joke!! Uff. what an idiot!

Even then, going back to the kheer symbolism, I seriously feel that it will be Asad who will get to Tannu's truth first. Zoya will start suspecting after todays date gets ruined again by darling Tannu! But in that dust wala scene, Tannu was the one who gave her water to clean her eyes. This could mean that she will explain her actions with yet another cock and bull story which Zoya may buy!

The Aapi- Asad scene was very good. Aapi excelled by handling him perfectly. She was firm and assertive and she got her point across; even though he tried running away as usual. Tanveer being omnipresent and listening to this conversation as well gives me a LOT of hope. 😊 Mangalpur 2 is what we shall soon witness- maybe on the day of the nikah. Also Dilshad invoking the airport engagement was a hint in that direction - as Asad seems to become less emotionally challenged when she is in danger or she is about to leave!

How does Tanveer always hide behind this pillar and plan even move..she's like the ultimate Mossad level spy man...Ek kaan ke neeche dene ka to much sunaayi nahin dega...

After watching the SBB/SBS segment yesterday, my theory is that Zoya will start investigating and simultaneously Asad will try finding her ex-husband (this story of Tannu's is about to backfire). Now to get Zoya off the way, she may plan to get her kidnapped and set the place on fire; So we have a hospital sequence, as one of the Ahmed Khan brothers will save Zoya; Hospital scene and nikah may happen quietly; Simultaneously Asad finds out about Imran and Tanveer gets busted! To spite them all, Tanveer reveals the Ghafoor truth...

You know what Z should do..she should actually get someone to spook Tannu out...as her ex husband. Now that would be awesome...ke kya T..aapne mujhe to kabhi jam-bread khilaaya hi nahin...kahaan thee aap tine din. And even Haseena😆...someone spook her out man...that would be so entertaining..

Lets see how much Tanveer ruins the date today!

Asad and Aapi - Can I just say I love Aapi! What a fantastic, sweetheart of a woman. The way she loves and protects Zoya in a way is equal to if not more than what a mother might do for her own child. Adopting a child is not easy, especially a child traumatized by her past. But Aapi and Jiju not only adopted Zoe to give her a roof over her head and family but have permanently given Zoya a place in their hearts that is quite possibly the most important thing for both of them. I have to give credit to the writers of QH for one thing- they have symbolically used a lot of Hindi idioms throughout the show. The one that stood out today was Tanveer throwing sand into Zoya's eyes- aankhon mein dhool johkna or in another words, deceiving someone.

I have to give you credit for coming up yet again with an apt theme and title for your post. Bravo. 👏

This week has been all about Tanveer and her deceptive behavior. Right from the chandelier accident to the self inflicted burns; she has been on an overdrive of deceptive actions.

Ugh, Tanveer doesn't really understand the depth of Asad's feelings if she thinks he will marry her out of sympathy or if the old childhood love (?) is going to resurrect. She does see Zoya's insecurities about her relationship with Asad and is milking it for what it's worth!

Even though she threw dhool into Zoya's eyes, the person who is actually being deceived the most is Asad. Time and again, Zoya has questioned the inconsistencies in her stories. Even today, she was baffled that Tanveer had not recognized Zoya's voice. Time to connect the dots Zoya. Perhaps, tomorrow's invasion during their private moment will finally have Zoya start clearing the dust particles in her eyes.

I hope so too. Time for Zoya Farooqui 007 to be back in action. Hopefully with Raabert's help. I have absolutely no fears about this couple turning romantic (not even one sided from Ayaan). He definitely has gauged his Bhaijaan's love for Zoya, as it was openly displayed at the Sangeet: the romantic dance and the emotional hug!

Asad on the other hand has buried his whole head under the sandbox. Any sensible guy would recognize when a best friend hits on them. Tanveer made it quite obvious today- agar Zoya nahin hoti tho? At least, he withdrew his hands right away but when Tanveer dismissed it as a joke, he started smiling again. What a duffer!!!! This was a clue bigger that the black hole in the universe. She made it so obvious but I doubt Asad mian will even bother to peep outside the sand box. Tanveer must have mixed opium in her homemade jam during their childhood.

Opium! 😆 You are funny! Yes, I loved his shocked reaction and instant hand withdrawal. I don't think Asad thinks of Tanu as a woman, just his best friend!! Who incidentally has not been in touch with him - how else can one explain the ex-husband angle that's going to play out soon! I am hoping the duffer has an eureka moment when the truth is disclosed! I would prefer if Asad found out and not Zoya!

Asad-Aapi conversation was the highlight of the episode. Looks like after all our ranting, the PH inserted a flash back of the Asad-Zoya scene where she clearly stated- mujhey aag se bahut darr lagta hai.

My favorite part of the show! I loved Aapi! She is so sweet and soft-spoken, but at the same time her unconditional love for "her" Zoya comes through loud and clear! Asad, my boy, you better not yell at Zoya in front of Aapi. You know what they say about the lioness protecting her cub. Zoya is Zeenat's baby. I wonder what the age gap is. Would love to hear some stories about their past: who was in Aapi's family, what happened to them, who was Zoya's legal guardian, who raised her, how long has Aapi been married, did Zoya move in with her from day 1, why Aapi does not have kids: sacrifice to take care of Zoya?, any siblings, any other family members from Aapi or Jeeju's side, etc. etc. I have a big list!

That scene was very well directed. Aapi pulled the chair towards Asad and made sure he had eye contact with her. In very polite ways, she confronted him and told him how hurt Zoya was. He started off with 'lekin,' but she didn't hesitate and asked "lekin kya Asad?" When Asad tried to defend himself, she questioned him : lekin Zoya ki baton ne tumhein upset kar diya hai na? Finally, as Asad tried to walk off in his typical fashion, she urged him to stay back and listen to her. Asad needs women like these around him. Aapi and Dilshaad who don't take any nonsense from him and make sure he has complete conversations with them. This is what Zoya needs to learn from these two women. Asad will listen but it's not an easy task. She needs to be assertive with Asad and whenever she has, he has listened.

The apology from Asad although heartfelt was not enough (for me) Zoya had once mentioned- aapka bas chale ho akele mein hi sorry bolkar chale jaayein.

It was heart-wrenching. KSG nailed it again. But, I agree. He needs to display those emotions to Zoya. It's building up!! I don't think Zoya saw him leave the room. I hope she asks Aapi in front of everyone if she came to check on her and was shedding tears! Then Dilshad. When both say no, Zoya wondering if it was a dream. It will be fun to watch Asad squirm while Aapi and Dilshad give him knowing looks!

Yes, he was embarrassed and too ashamed by his own behavior and couldn't face her this time. He knew that just saying a sorry wouldn't do it. He had touched a very sensitive and frightening chord from her life. The only way he can make up for this folly would be by his actions.

When Zoya questions Tanveer, will he stand by Zoya?

When Zoya makes an unintentional mistake, will he give her the benefit of the doubt?

Will he make sure he doesn't hurt her feelings with his bitter words ever again?

I surely hope this is the turning point for Asad. Else, I will lose all respect for this character. He needs to prove (to me) that his love is more than an extremely powerful physical attraction.

Well, only time will tell. The only positive I can see is another Mangalpur in the making. With the nikaah approaching, Tanveer cranking her evil plans, Zoya's fear of fire known to Tanveer, are we finally going to see Zoya trapped in a fire on the day of the nikaah?

Hear!! Hear!! Us despos want another Mangalpuri Asad. Can we ask for a conscious Zoya so she sees the raw emotions and hears the famous Zoooyyyaaa dahaad?! But kidding aside, that's exactly the thought I had when Tanveer was shown eavesdropping! I feel she will go back to Plan A (kill Zoya) now that Plan B (seduce Jammy) is not working!

Dilshaad coaching Asad is getting old now. Dilshaad was right- does Asad have to almost lose Zoya in order to confess his feelings? I think that's what's going to happen.

I love Dilshad Momma. Wish my MIL was so cool. 😆 I so loved her teasing Asad about Mr. Khan / Ms. Farooqui! I was waiting for Aapi or Dilshad to tell Asad and Zoya to move to 1st name basis!

I am intrigued by the date. Why the backyard? Why not a restaurant where no one can interrupt? How did Asad convince her to wear a sari and join him for the date? I guess we will find tomorrow.

It was good to hear Zoya's cute one liner in the precap: inke iraade tho nek lagte hain.

Why the backyard? Did you forget Akdu only likes home food?! Although I didn't see any food there! Wonder what or who Mr. Khan was planning on devouring!! 😆 Secondly, he has to be near his Tanu, to protect her! Forget about hiring security, which incidentally he should have done after Dilshad was shot. Ah, but I digress with the sarcasm. Back to the date. Baby steps for the big baby! Although the dance steps were pretty bold, Mr. Khan! I loooved Zoya's nek irade statement. She is sooo cute! 😆

SYMBOLISMS:

1. As explained above- throwing sand in Zoya's eyes. Tanveer tried to deceive her but Zoya was able to clear out the sand eventually. Zoya will unravel her deception.

I hope this happens soon! Can't take any more of Tanveer. But would love to see Zoya fight her claim on Mr. Khan. She now has an inkling that his irades are nek! Wonder what will happen if she tries to seduce him, even as little as caress his face, touch his hands, kiss his cheeks. What the heck: let her get very touchy touchy with him! I am sure Asad has long forgotten his tehzeeb speech!

2. Asad's tear fell on Zoya's hand. She stirred a little but I doubt it melted her anger. This is just a glimpse of Asad's redemption track. In future, he will have to shed tons of tears for her and till they touch her heart, he won't be able to win her over (this is entirely my version and I am sure others have a different interpretation)

I hope not! Please no separation, not even an emotional one. It's contrary to Zoya's forgiving nature! I lose interest when that happens. Marriage, nokh zhok, etc. Qubool Hai! With this couple, the CVs have lot of choices. The chemistry, physics, history, whatever.. is awesome!

3. Nikhat's words: mohabbat apna raasta dhoondh hi legi. Applies to all the couples in love here.

I sure hope so for AsYa. For Nikhat, the path seems to be ridden with pain. She will pay for her Parents' misdeeds. Poor thing. 😕

4. Aapi-Asad relationship: This will be important as Asad now knows what Zoya even doesn't know.

Asad is like a bheegi billi in front of Aapi. So respectful. Finally, Zoya has someone strong completely on her side. Hope Jeeju comes soon. Although, if he comes, all 3 may move out before the wedding. It will be fun seeing Asad's reaction if Zoya is away from his home for a few days!

5. Asad withdrawing his hand when Tanveer mentioned Zoya's name means even if he helps Tanu, he will never be able to give her Zoya's place in his life.

Of course. No way can that billi be the sher's life partner. That spot is reserved only for the sherni, who needs to wake up and take control of the situation. If tomorrow's promo is accurate, then she will understand Asad's feelings without the confession! Watch out billi! If the sherni sharpens her claws and stakes a claim on her sher, you don't stand a chance! Take that Meow, Meow!!

Tanveer listening to the fire conversation between Aapi And Asad means that we are very soon gonna get a mangalpur wala Asad. I can't wait for next week it's gonna be mindblowing.
I am actually enjoying the other house scenes too so much. Loving where the track is heading.

And billi herself gave water to zoya to clean her eyes... So billi herself will come "clean" to zoe an reveal her antics? Maybe? However keeping in mind the DHOOL JHOKNA its possible billi will fool zoya into thinking something about her and asad, if or when she reveals the truth to zoe itll be half truth or fake truth, and because of that zoe may fall for her fake lies and distance herself from asad. But asad might be playing tanveer and wont be fooled by her lies. Just as his tears woke zoe up today, asad may be the one to WAKE ZOYA UP to tanveers lies.

Same thing with hands. Same episode billi was trying to make a place in asads heart today indirectly proposing but asad didnt fall for it and removed his hands from hers.
