Highlights
1) SUPER DUPER Glad that Zoya has begun noticing the big loopholes in all the lies Tanveer throws one after the other. I am pretty sure that since she has already begun scratching the surface of the truth though unknowingly, she will sooner or later reach the truth, which no one else has. Though its going to be a hard journey in making anyone in the Khan family especially Asad face the truth, but one scene where Zoya mends Asad's shirt always reminds me of how like Asad is her protector she is going to be the one mending a lot of things worn in his life. I am glad they're going to make Zoya reach the truth first.
2) Asad is stubborn, really rigid and a slow learner yes, (that is a miss so should come later ) but in a way his calm way of talking to Zoya at the end of the episode showed a remarkable change from before, when he just blasted left right and center, though there is a long way to go when he'll come down to the level of trust and acceptance, this change can't go unnoticed. He didn't want to hurt her also but didn't know how to say what he thought either
3) I love that we never see Zoya go timid and just take everything silently, she questions, fights, argues if she knows she is right but does not take anything lying down, which is an amazing aspect of the character. Hoping she uses the same alertness in the coming days to unveil the truth đ Go Zoya
4) I've been waiting for Zoya's past to be scratched and like how this fake fire and injury is going to start a new chapter of Tanveer's end I can see a new chapter of Zoya's past being rekindled, thinking if it would also lead to Gaffur somehow? But whatever it might be, Asad knowing more about Zoya's past is going to add more intensity. Hope they go more into this track than move around in circles about Tannu
5) AH the precap stole the show, loved how Aapi gave Asad all the answers he needed to know to make him realize his mistake, that was a pleasant surprise and I am glad Aapi is being used as such an important part of the show, I am assuming she'll be a huge part of the track ahead as well.
Misses
1) Razia and Badi bi are entertainers, no two things about it, but these empty threats every day are going a little too repetitive, I don't see what either are going to do at the end of sometimes 5 and sometimes 7 days đ¤Ł
2) I don't get how torturing Nikhat is going to make Ayan marry Humaira quicker :S
3) Asad has realized time and again that him not letting Zoya speak has proved wrong for himself, and he has always learnt it the hard way, even tomorrow he is going to learn it after knowing a heart wrenching truth about her past. They make for great moments when he realizes his folly, but it would be nice if he tries to improve on his hearing ability đ I can see the story writers infuse that into the story,because they keep showing him feel bad and think twice later, thoug yet again he has a long way to go. Qne day when he thinks about all these mistakes put together, it shall hit him how hearing her would have been a better option than ranting she aint a bechari đ
P.S - After the disappointing MS, today has kickstarted greatly and I can see pace picking up. Don't mind giving the story writers a chance to show whatever they want, but the pace just needs to quicken considerably. With IPL on its last leg I just hope the show picks its earlier pace and gets on with the main story whatever it might be.
P.P.S - We all are different beings, what we grow up seeing or facing makes us the people we are, and over the years we form habits or characteristics that become a part of our being. Some of these are good some are bad, some are for the better and some end up harming us and people around us. The same case is with Asad and Zoya. Zoya has a past that keeps her frightened, vulnerable and shaken, especially because she has no answers to any of those fears that haunt her, over the years bottling those fears within her have made her very fragile from within and thus made her fear losing her closed ones. She desperately looks for acceptance and cherishes each bond she makes. Asad on the other hand has seen love fail, trust shatter and has from the tender age of 10 taken over responsibilities that even grown up men take over only gradually. Bottling his feelings and shouldering so much has made him lose trust over everything around him, just a few parts of his childhood leave good memories of the life he would have wanted to live, of which Tannu is a part. He trusts his mother and sister with his feelings because they were the only people that were part of his that life he wanted to live and in his memories Tanveer was also part of the happier life. Its understandable that he trusts her and wants to make sure she is fine..
Both Asad and Zoya live by believing what is not the truth. Asad is hidden from Tanveer's real face and Zoya from her real existence, and both will have to go through a great amount of ordeal to face the truth respectively, hearts will break again, their trust and hope in life shall be shattered once more. But this time around either have the other with them, they may falter, may make mistakes, but their lives are entwined in one way or the other and even if they part ways, destiny shall make them cross paths and each shall be the constant in the others life through the pain they go through in facing these realities. And it would be a beautiful journey to watch through.
