i feel there cant be any comparison between the two...both characters r completely different...agar kisi ko asad ke character se problem hai toh better dont watch the show...i m a big asr n ipkknd fan but i like watching qh...so plz dont compare as the two r entirely different...ipkknd was not qh n qh is not ipkknd 2...so no comparison at all...n this is just my pov

Comparison aside, I do feel and agree that Asad's behavior to Zoya is borderline abusive. We love their chemistry so we don't mind, but he does get away with a lot more than he should with, when it comes to Zoya. We still have to see the growth of their characters and relationship to the point where Asad sees beyond the attraction and emotions he feels towards Zoya to the point, where he really values Zoya as a person of integrity, values and more importantly someone who really treasures relationships. He does LOVE Zoya, but he still in someway is fighting himself because he believes she is UNFIT for him. Unlike Zoya, who always believes two people can just be different and they can agree to disagree, he is a one track personality who has it ingrained in him that Zoya is not fit for him. I have a problem because, this is in a way fostering co-dependency in Zoya. She is an orphan, and craves love, so in the real world, her taking all the abuse would really make me think that she is codependent... and it would be really healthy. I would want Asad to realize that Zoya is indeed a beautiful person, though she wears jeans and what not... as that would basically kill the root cause of the problem. Once he sees the real Zoya, he would never doubt her...

ASR was way more regressive than Asad is.
