Three different shows . Three different stages .Three different storylines. Three different team of writers with pressure to coordinate, deliver and connect all the dots. Different directors , different sets, different shooting schedules. No major story development and no major revelation.
Aisi script ko koi editor nahiin bachaa saktaa. What will the editor do when he will be given three different sets of scenes and told to compress it all in 1.5 hours?
Its always the fault of the channel who makes the PH go a 'facepalm' by suggesting a Khichdi of various different shows and they are forced to do mergers that get on everyone's nerves. To the viewers of individual shows, its simply jarring and they have no idea what is going on.
See, kudos to the direction and editing team ( they actually have it the hardest ) for managing to complete the shoot in time , editing it to the best of their abilities and sending the master tape to the channel. I don't blame the writers either - what do you expect three different teams to do when they are asked to merge three shows into one single screenplay.
So, Zee. Bad idea and either you don't do any mergers , or if you do, just do it for two shows so that there is a streamlined flow.
I can only comment on today's MS in pointers.
1. What is so wrong with Zoe? If you don't want a man to say 'no' to you for marriage, then, in all the common sense of Homo Sapiens, it means that you LOVE that man. What is so confusing about it? Or are you scared that you would rather not face what you feel because you fear he is gonna say no to you?
2. And Asad? Tera jo ye Wo Actually hai na, ye definitely Zoe ko almost kabar tak pahoncha degaa. So, forget trying to propose to her - let her almost die, confession loudspeaker par niklegaa.
3. For me, the dynamics of Ayaan in relation to Asad and Zoe seem to have changed. Ayaan has admitted Zoe as Asad's 'Mukammal Mohabbat'. He has seen how his brother went running to hug Zoe when she escaped death. Suddenly, Zoe is raised to the spot where Asad is. So, for a character like Ayaan's, any possibility of seeing Zoe as a woman is kind of revolting now. By coming to the Sangeet , being happy for AsYa, he has put Zoe as Asad's wife and his sister-in-law.
4. The AsYa dance was beautiful but am sorry, it wasn't Asad and Zoe. It was Karan and Surbhi - grinning , smiling , hopping and jumping around. The tone of the dance should have been intense and angry - but it seemed like Karan and Surbhi in their fun element. Its not that its their fault. Disjointed shooting and all the chaos leads to such gaps. Anyway, the intensity and emotion was back with the hug.
5. Tanveer has a psychotic streak and she needs to be institutionalized. The very thought that she is a pregnant woman with such a personality gives me the creeps. I mean, it is either her character or the conviction that Amrapali brings to the character, she fills me with Disturbia. She can kill an innocent girl to get back at Razia. She needs HELP. And i have a feeling that Tannu will have a very ugly end whenever it comes.
P.S- Don't fret over the MS and watch Sun Zaraa in a loop and play the hug with slight editing. You will get over the Khichdi delivered to you by Zee.😆
