It looked like he's doubting tanveer. Did you all notice that he called her tanveer both times he took her name plus his body language was quite distant as well.

LOL that's a blooper in their script. I think because we know Tanveer's true face we feel its really low of him to side or be concerned for her. But just seeing it from his POV he is just concerned for his friend, childhood one at that. Last time when he did not want Mariam there, it was because he had seen what happened to Zoya and then later his premonition came true when Ammi got shot (though then they did not know who did it) he wanted Zoya away from the danger. Now that this incident was going to harm Zoya he may want to find out whose behind it and get near the truth?
