@tm and all my friends...I think this is a very sensitive issue and you people can bring it to the notice of the ph by telling them not play with such sentiments and cultural things...i think😊 you all need to take a step so that they don't do these things again...

Tehzeeb is an urdu/arabic word . There is no exact meaning but in this context it means something like who is well mannered and follows his culture and takes positive things from his upbringing and culture.

I agree with u sooo much..this is vvv wrong thy r showing all wrong things about muslim culture.whether u belong to india or pakistan it doesnt matter a muslim is a muslim and thy r v wrong in showing such things.there is only mehendi, nikah and valima thts it.
Thy should hav thought twice before making a drama on muslims.its better thy would hav shown their own culture rather thn disrespecting others cultures

In that case, they should put a disclaimer of some sort if they really want to show made up rasms.

I was a silent reader to this post and wanted to avoid posting about such a controversial issue of religion. But now I'm unable to stop my self from writing this.

Please guys..it is just a TV serial...they are not really trying to portray any religion in wrong light... Gul is herself a Muslim...im sure she must have seen or heard about this ceremony from someone and that is why decided to include it... but nonetheless, it was only aimed at showing bride and groom's love for each other...and not to offend anyone...so pls calm down and just enjoy the episode... after all we are getting some more Asyalicious episodes...😳

I am sorry if I have offended anyone or hurt anyone's feelings!😊

The show or for that matter any show is not a documentary on any religion ; culture or society and is rather a pure piece of fiction and one should watch it while keeping that in mind!

hey! Culture and Religon are 2 DIFFERENT THINGS CUTIE PIE! LOL

As long as you have the Nikaaah and Walima... adding other functions to it according to your culture does not insult Islam or is wrong.
