Actions speak louder than words.
For all his 'saving' Ms. Farouqui from goons et al, Mr. Khan has displayed no evidence of the 'sterling' qualities he espouses all the time.
In fact, he appears to deliberately eschew them rather expediently!
On the other hand, Ms, Farouqi had embodied the virtues that he extolls on numerous occasions.
Forget deserving, she ought not to give him the time of the day even when he comes a-calling, his hat in his hand, coz such people never really change.
He will always look for excuses to put her down and distrust her, and that is no way to have a relationship

I totally second that...sometimes i think that he envies her because inspite of having an equally rotten childhood she turned out to be human at least...i am just soo so angry at asad...and if Zoya lets go of it at this time...i will be more upset with her...its not about giving Asad a hard time because he accused he wrongly...its about self respect...
