I think the production house has made a great choice with the new Ayaan (I will continue to be skeptical about believing the news until it comes from 4Lions.
However, I have seen Balika Vadhu during his stint and he was great. He comes with a lot of potential for the character of Ayaan. More importantly, I think with this guy Gul might just spin the whole triangle a bit. He will look good with Humeira and though he may look a tad bit younger than Zoya, Ayaan's fascination with her character may not come across as completely unbelievable as it would have been with Rishab.
Asya is the only endgame but this new Ayaan will most definitely be a good addition.
