Well..what I think is..Zoya has reached the 'reasoning' stage as of now! She is in that frame of mind...where now she is thinking.."why does Asad's opinion about me matter to me...bother me sooo much?" This, as per me is her development from the stage, where she used to think.."people meet...people part".
The thing is...Zoya has always yearned for relationships. Asad fills all her voids...his home is her home...his companionship is what all matters to her. When he smiles, her life lits up...and when he becomes indifferent towards her...it hurts her. She craves for his attention...he completes the empty picture of her life...and she is very happy n content this way. She had just wanted to hear that he accepts that engagement as real n not a drama. The reason why so...am quite sure, she hasn't figured out herself yet.
I'm NOT saying that she doesn't "feel" the emotions...but she hasn't gone beyond the reasoning stage yet.
For Asad..he has lives the worst fear of losing Zoya...around 3-4 times. And that...coupled with the way he 'reasoned' with himself...he has reached the 'realization' stage. The stage where he now accepts that "I can't stay away from you now...n I cannot allow you to come near me. What should I do?". So, there...that's what I think how it is.
Maybe, Zoya also needs to go through the feeling or fear of Asad going away from her. Maybe, then she gives proper words n definition to her own feelings! Again..this is my POV 😳
As for Dilshad...what I think is...troubles are knocking at the AsYa land door...in the form of Tannu n Raziya. I always wanted n still want Asad to be the one who sees the real face of Tannu...and unmasks her. But now...it seems in one way or the other...Dilshad will be a constant shield of lady luck in their story.
It really depends on how things turn out to be...but Asad n Zoya are very vulnerable at the moment...and their enemies are very strong females. They can deal with some of their plans on their own...but not all! Also, things can't be all so smooth n rosy in their story. Some kinda seperation or tests are soon gonna hit the walls of their love. Though, I feel n hope...ye nikah toh ho ga hi 😳
